Apperance

She usually wields a staff, which description is not important at the current time. Her wardrobe is fairly large, and what she wears varies alot, she sometimes wears a robe in battle. Sometimes.

Other: She tends to occasionally yell "FIRE!" when casting fire-spells, or detonating bombs. Gilly is also not sure if she if she is lesbian or straight.

Personality

Being a gnome, she is cheerful. Her personality varies a bit, depending on the situation, but she doesn't turn into a different person just because it's been a bad day. She likes to tinker, but she doesn't put together motorcycles. She makes bombs, combining the engineering with her fire magic. One of her favourite bombs, is one of those she invented herself, that only "explodes one way" and has a 20% chance of exploding the other way too. Useful if one makes mines, so that the ground doesn't blow up too. She uses thin strings, pressure pads, or her fire magic to detonate. She is impulsive and cautious at the same time, as soon as she's done evaluating the risks and consequences, she unleashes her restless fury of explosives and fire magic. She is able to out-drink many other gnomes, and once attempted to out-drink a dwarf. She lost.

History

Gilly has been a friend of dwarves since the day she first could communicate with one, when she learned how to speak. Her first reason to like them was because they spoke in a funny way. She doesn't look down at many others, but she's never been too tolerant for short-jokes.

She started studying engineering as soon as she could. Gilly was not good compared to other gnomes, although she was best-in-class when it came to stuff that were intended to explode. She made nearly everything she made able to blow up in one or another way. She also made non-explosive devices blow up on purpose because it was amusing. Gilly earned her nickname when she invented an explosive slimy fluid, which could had been used as fuel if the fluid was a little thinner. She never wanted to show others the structure of the fluid, but the fluid was the first stage of developing the explosive substance she uses in her bombs. She wants to keep this material a secret, however.

She read in a book that mana crystals could empower devices, and she then decided to study the arcane, and only take Engineering as a "side-subject" for the time being. She specialized in the fire magics, along with the Arcane. She now uses both in her devices and in many, many other things, such as cooking. She invented a dish named "Grenade Steak".

Gilly, or at this time called "Jelly", participated in the Second War and defended the exiles of Gnomeregan against the irradiated gnomes and trolls during the Fall of Gnomeregan. Gilly supported from the sidelines most of the time, but some (rare) times, she snuck out to the frontlines to try out her new devices and/or spells. She was not able to participate in the Third War, but still wants to go to Northrend and improve her technology against the Undead. She frequently visits Booty Bay and the Gurubashi Arena for certain explosive interests.

Skills and Abilities

She is a mage, specialized in fire. She combines fire magic with explosive devices - or the other way around, combining explosive devices with fire magic. She likes to tinker with her own equipment, but does not put together big things like stratofighters, motorcycles or battleships. She has more affinity for... Explosions and fire. One of her own inventions is her explosive devices (grenades, mines and bombs) which only releases an explosion in one direction, without causing the device itself to fly away because of the explosion, the explosion moves from the device. For instance, she can implement this in her mechanostrider's mouth, making it able to unleash explosions without any recoil. At all.
