Appearance

When he is around town, Gideon wears a portion of his mail armor, but when in battle, he wears full mail armor for better protection.

Other: Gideon always wears a pair of goggles, to cover his eyes, because he does not like being judged because of his tainted race.

Personality

Alignment: Lawful Good

Gideon is very nice, but also very shy. He is a big animal lover; usually a conversation about animals will help him warm up to certain people. He constantly is daydreaming always thinking of what his real parents were like. Gideon likes to keep to himself, but never dislikes having someone other than his pets to talk to. Gideon always seems to be lost in his thoughts, coming off as introverted.

History

Gideon Sundale never knew his parents. Gideon was left at the Silvermoon Orphanage as a baby by his parents. Growing up he always had a very strong love for animals, although he had never owned a pet until he moved out of the orphanage. Once he was old enough to leave the orphanage, Gideon went to the Sunstrider Isle to become a Hunter. It was his love for animals that lead him to become a Hunter; He trained in the Eversong Woods for a relatively long period of time and would provide food for the orphanage as he grew stronger, and older.

Because of Gideon's responsibilities to the orphanage, Gideon never took part in the third war except to care for the children whose parents died during the war. After the loss of the Sunwell, Gideon, like many others of his kind began to feel withdraws from magic and began to use fel magic to fuel his addiction. Exiled from the Aliance, Gideon joined the Sin'Dorei and like the other Sin'Dorei he aligned himself with the Horde. Gideon left the ruins of Silvermoon for the new Horde capital of Orgrimmar, there he helped out at the orphanage, for several years, and continued his Hunter training with the Horde trainers until Silvermoon was rebuilt.

During his trainings with the Horde masters, Gideon had become intrigued by the how the Shamans and Druids used the natural magic of the Earthmother and the Elements. Along side his training as a hunter he began to study these different kinds of magic. Although he was not able to use these techniques himself his studies helped him to better understand his new horde companions.

Gideon eventually decided that he was going to travel around Azeroth. He said goodbye to his trainer and the children at the orphanage saying, "I'll be back some day, and I will share my stories of my travels with you." He took the Zeppelin to Grom'gol to start his journey.

While he was completing a small task near Grom'gol came across a Zulian Tigress that was badly injured. Remembering his training Gideon was able mend the tigress' wounds, but she was still to week to defend herself from danger. So Gideon, once again recalling his training, tamed the tigress and named her Jasmine. Gideon now travels with Jasmine where ever he goes, and they both grow stronger and closer each day. Gideon writes down some of his ventures in a journal he keeps in his bag. He often visits the Silvermoon and Orgrimmar Orphanages to drop off necessary supplies and to tell the children stories of his travels.
