Personality

  • Alignment: Neutral.

He's rather laid back and enjoys living an independent life style. He's demanding whenever he has control over other people, and with his mindset he finds it absolutely okay to imprison someone should they ever wander alone. He has little to no respect for trollish women and is indifferent to the other races' women. He is curious though about people that are different from trolls, and sometimes he'll imprison someone just to entertain his curiosities.

He has little interest in making money or doing business but he still hangs around Steamwheedle areas for his own reasons. He's less of a customer and more of a loiterer, much to the dismay of the goblins there.

History

Gazza was born into the Gurubashi tribe in Stranglethorn Vale. He was one of the younger sons in the family and because of that not as much attention was placed on him as did the first-born son. His father had managed to accumulate several mates, so needless to say he had many siblings to help him out.

From a young age he and his brothers followed his father into the Vale, teaching him how to hunt and stalk his prey from the shadows. They shown him how to kill, how to skin the animal, which meat was the best cut, enough so he knew how to take care of himself in the jungle, or so he thought. The teachings from his family had him feeling like he was in control, and that he could handle himself out in the jungle.

To prove this to himself he would explore every chance he could get, during times when things weren't busy or when he wasn't required to pull his weight. The whelp would try to cover every bit of the jungle he could, sometime straying from the territory of his tribe. His brothers warned him many times of the danger, but he didn't listen. He'd go farther and farther, until he had been missing from the tribe for days.

During that time he had experience what he thought was full freedom. He could lounge about under the trees, kill something when he needed to eat, soak in the pools of the jungle and have a care-free life. He had fun, which was a precious thing that his childhood lacked, and when he realized this he didn't head back. The jungle became a playground for the hunter.

It wasn't too long before he realized that the entire Vale did not belong to trolls. One day he had stumbled upon a tent and a fire, and people gathered around. They were all pink-skinned and despite him being a young whelp he seemed to near the size of the adults there. One of the women had left to collect some water in a close-by pool and it left him so curious he stalked her. As she made it down to the water he would creep up slowly, and then grabbed her so he could get a first-hand look. The woman immediately let out a scream but before anyone could come he slung the human over his shoulder and carried her deeper into the jungle.

Her words were very strange to him. He couldn't convey any message with the barrier between common and Zandali, and the female of course didn't want to cooperate with him. When she talked it mostly seemed to be worried and afraid, but he didn't do anything to her, not yet, at least. He kept her for awhile, not letting her go anywhere, wanting to learn all he could from the human.

Unfortunately for the human her imprisonment was long term. He gave her the name Kaida, and tried to communicate often with her. He provided for the human and brought her deep into the jungle so that she was dependent off of him for food and survival. As a year passed the language barrier slowly broke away so that he had enough common to tell her what to do. Kaida was for the most part obedient, but only because of the fact that she couldn't get far from him without getting lost and tracked down again.

As the years passed the troll got bigger and stronger, and was rather content with his life as a fon. No one was his boss and he had a companion so that he wasn't alone. By then Kaida too had fully grown and her hopes of ever returning to civilization had diminished. She had stopped trying to escape, and instead worked with the troll. Content with her behavior he had given her a bit more freedom and flexibility to handle herself as well.

One morning, however, Kaida was nowhere to be found. He scoured the jungle for her, but to no avail. His tracking brought him all the way to the port city of Booty Bay, but she still couldn't be found anywhere. Something fishy happened, and he didn't know what, but he at least had enough common to talk to the folks there and investigate. To this day he is still searching for the woman he imprisoned.
