Personality

Gavin is a cheerful and happy person. Helpful and kind, almost always seen with a pleasant smile. He is jovial and not afraid to laugh at himself. His heart is big and he has the courage of a young man wanting to be a famous warrior. He loves his friends dearly and if they are harmed in any way, or spoken ill of, he will stand up for them.

He can not stand brutes that harm innocents or sleaze bags that lie. His biggest dream is to travel into a far off land, maybe Kalimdor, and make a name for himself as a valiant warrior. One of the most noticeable things about Gavin is his popularity with women, many a barmaid has been seduced by a dashing grin and flexing muscles.

History

Gavin Redwind was born in Nortshire Abbey, his father a local guard, his mother a priestess. He grew up with his cousin Navares, and their best friend Jinny. Together the three of them dreamt of big things, fame and riches in the world out there.

Gavin's calling was always the sword, he watched his father go out to fight, in the polished armor of a Stormwind Guard, his sword in hand. His father's best friend, another guard named Mitch, offered to teach Gavin how to use a sword, or any other weapon he chose.

Gav was tall and quite muscular very early, always everybodies friend, the kids played alot of games. So by the time he was 12, Gavin was bigger than the other boys, and had the muscles of a future warrior. Mitch, taught him how to wield a sword and use it in battle, with a shield and without it. Gav used wooden training weapons for six years, until his father gave him his first sword and shield when he was eighteen.

After that he went with his father to Stormwind, he had only been there a few times as a child. There his father purchased for him some worn chain mail and leathers, his first armor. Now he could help the local guards and gain some experience in combat. He went with Mitch on a few jobs, mostly involving clearing out wolves and kobolds, or fighting off a few bandits.

He worked as hired help for the Stormwind Guard until he was twenty-two, then he met up with his childhood friends, Navares and Jinny, and together they plan to make the dream come true and travel to distant lands, adventuring.
