History
Gann was born to Milin and Guilin Blackbrews. Even though this kid was smaller than usual dwarven babies, he still looked healthy, and was even laughing, instead of crying. Through years, the little kid grew, he was weaker than other dwarves of his age, but he had a big heart, and a clever head. Just as he reached the age of 23, he helped his father to make the Blackbrew's ale. Milin was impressed by the kid's talent, but the father also wanted a son, who could be a warrior. However, that didn't work out too well. Through all time of training, Gann wasn't shooting a rifle very straight, and his swings of maces and axes, truly weren't the best. So the father decided, that it would be best, if his son would better a great brewer, than a fighter.
After Gann reached the age of 43, the young dwarf started to experiment with different ingredients for the beer. He tried various herbs, fruits, berries, even minerals. Some of those brews were of fantastic taste, the others could make anyone puke after smelling it. However, one day, Gann was once again testing with minerals in his father's brewery, but they didn't agree with each other, and made an explosive chemical reaction, destroying the brewery and heavily injuring Gann. Due to the explosion, the whole right side of his body was badly burnt. The blast had broken some of his bones, and the sound of the explosion torn his eardrum. And if that wasn't enough, the old Blackbrew has exiled his son from the village telling him to never come back again.
Even after this, Gann didn't stop making brews. In fact, through the years, he easily improved, and his ale was surely liked in many villages, that the dwarf has traveled through. The young Blackbrew has traveled long ways from South, to North, and then, from North to South. Through all his travels he only collected herbs for his drinks, socialized with many different people, and shared his brew with them.
As Gann was traveling through the forests of western Lordaeron, he noticed a strange creature with white and black fur. It was a humanoid, with silk robes, and a strange straw hat. As Gann got closer to the stranger, the creature waved his right arm, and smiled warmly, introducing himself as Mong Chan Wog, a brewmaster from the land called "Pandaria". The both shared their drinks with eachother. Through the day, they both talked about brews. It was clear to Gann, that the pandaren was surely more skilled at making good drinks, and so he asked, if the brewmaster could take him as an apprentice. Chan has agreed of teaching Gann the ways of unique brewing, and at the same time, he also teached that dwarf the art of Drunken Brawler.
Through years of traveling with his master, Gann has finally learned both: brewing unique drinks, and fighting in the style of Drunken Brawler. The Blackbrew has learned a lot from the pandaren. However, they had to seperate, since Mong Chan Wog needed to return to his homeland, and yet, couldn't take the dwarf with him, because it is the secret to the pandaren only.
Yet still, Gann continues his travels, experimenting with more ingredients, and making more brews, that could surely be liked by most races of Azeroth.
