Gal'thar is a scarred Orc. His nose is at an off angle, his teeth are broken and chipped and he has a large scar running from his shoulder to his upper chest. Besides the larger scars he also has many other, smaller scars on various places of his body.

Personality

Gal'thar is mainly driven by his sense of honor. Like many of his orcish brethren he favors honor above everything else and will do everything to protect his honor. He won't do anything he finds dishonorable and will get mad rather quickly if someone even dares question his honor. He has no problems voicing his concerns with an act he sees as dishonorable and will often back up his claim with his axe.

Apart from his honor there is another thing that drives Gal'thar: His love for the Horde. Gal'thar is deathly loyal to the Horde and willing to serve the Horde in any way, as long as it does not go against his sense of honor.

Gal'thar revels in the glory of the Bleeding Hollow Clan's mighty warriors and strives to uphold their name. As such he spends most of his time training, sparring, fighting or hunting. Gal'thar is particularly fond of the latter and has taken a liking to eating the meat of boars he hunted himself.

History

Gal'thar was born into the Bleeding Hollow Clan as the son of Krulok Blackeye and his mate. He was born into the world of Azeroth shortly after the Clan's arrival. He grew up amongst the many warriors the clan had . His time as a child was mostly spent on the move, always advancing forward with the rest of the Clan as they marched upon the lands of the humans. Gal'thar gained a deep respect for the warriors of his clan during this time, as his father taught him much about honor and the path of the warrior. He even started training Gal'thar after the massive losses the Horde suffered in the Second War, despite his young age.

Gal'thar could finally stop living on the road as he and the Clan headed back to the relative safety of Draenor with the help of Ner'zhul. But his training never stopped, his father kept preparing his son for battle as the attacks of the invading Alliance Expedition grew more frequent. When Draenor started to collapse because of Ner'zhul's numerous portals, Gal'thar and the rest of his clan were forced to head through the fortified Dark Portal. Gal'thar's father died in the battle that followed as the orcs tried to break through the human fortifications and return to Azeroth.

Gal'thar was captured along with the remains of his clan shortly after his return to Azeroth. He was separated from his mother and most of his clan. Life in the camp was horrible to him and seeing his people suffer like that wasn't all that good for his image of the mighty warriors of the clan either. He like most orcs got rather depressed during his time in camp, he even contemplated suicide but his hatred for the humans kept him from killing himself.

The day when Thrall and the orcish horde freed Gal'thar and the others from the internment camp was the happiest day of his life. As he witnessed his orcish brethren return to their former glory, he himself was reinvigorated. He quickly joined the Horde as a warrior, representing the Bleeding Hollow Clan. He aided the Horde as they freed more and more of their brethren and eventually traveled to Kalimdor with them.

Gal'thar joined the Kor'kron and fought in the Third War as a grunt. His hatred for the humans subsided somewhat during this time as he saw that there were honorable humans aswell. The scars Gal'thar got from the Third War are his favorite and they will forever remind him of the glorious rise of the Horde. After the Third War he was happy to be able to return to his new home in Durotar.

When the war in Northrend started, Gal'thar joined the Horde Expedition as part of the Kor'kron. He served loyally under the commander of his battalion for weeks until the tension between the Horde and the Alliance rose to new heights. The Alliance and Horde expeditions would often come to blows as they met on the frozen north lands. After seeing an Alliance battalion barely survive an encounter with the Scourge, Gal'thar's commander ordered his troops to finish the job. Gal'thar refused because he found it dishonorable. He was beaten to a pulp by his commander for his insolence. The commander broke Gal'thar's nose and a couple of teeth, causing his current rather disfigured face. He was dishonorably discharged from the Kor'kron and send back to Orgrimmar.

He's currently spending his time in Orgrimmar doing his favorite activities: Drinking and fighting.
