At first, the hardships he encountered did not mean anything to him; he carried on with his kind-hearted disposition. However, as he had failed in many aspects because of that, it made him think.

As the age of a person increases, they learn more about their surroundings, about people's behavior and habits, thus making him think about his attitude towards others and his profit for it. Eventually, he concluded greed is for people with a thirst unending, Foric did not desire to be like them. Instead, despite his losses in life, he carried on to be a helping and diligent man.

History

Foric was born in the village of Eastvale, back when it was a small logging camp. Being the son of a tailor and a lumberjack, the boy was taught general manners, learning to value whatever he currently had. As he was growing up, Foric also learned basic combat tricks, each morning waking up, rushing to the fields, grabbing his wooden sword and mauling the dummy. Sometimes he'd do that for hours, willing to prove himself as an excellent warrior. However, he was simply a child back then, and before he was even fifteen, the First War erupted.

As the kingdom of Azeroth was unprepared for the orcish onslaught, and Foric being of an illegitimate age to join the military, he and his mother were forced into hiding. As the orcs easily broke the positions of the poorly-organised defenders, they were getting close to the capital. Stormwind was not prepared to withstand such an assault, and the city fell.

Then the days of rebuilding and hard work came. The Stonemason's guild handled the reconstruction of the once grand capital, with plans to even improve the enormous city. The farmers worked hard in order to receive a profit in this age of reconstruction, yet, because of the House of Nobles' denial to pay the Stonemasons, anti-noble and crown propaganda spread, convincing the underpaid workers to join their order.

Foric, being a worksman and a builder of the New Stormwind, also did not receive his payment, though being an honest citizen of Stormwind and unwilling to join in as a Defias, had through other means to obtain money. With his father dead in the First War, only his mother alive, Foric was forced to join in as a soldier in order to help his only remaining parent with the taxes. Being a private at first, he learned more about the life of his comrades, with not even a copper in their pouch, they shared the rations, and Quinn established a good friendship with his fellow armymen.

However, as his life seemed at relative ease, the drums of war were heard once again, the Orcs threatening Azeroth once again. With a more stable military and economy than before the First War, the kingdom of Azeroth was ready to send its' troops into combat. Foric was dispatched to Redridge, where they were to withstand the orcish attacks in Stonewatch until Lordaeron broke through and destroyed the Horde from behind. Alas, they were unable to withstand the orcs' onslaught in Stonewatch, the keep being lost to the savages. Foric, alongside the remnants of the battalion he was in went back to Lakeshire, ordered to hold their position there. Even though the orcs had catapults at their disposal, the valiant footmen, through honorable battles and clashes held back the Horde from the remotely-separate town.

As the Horde was eventually defeated, Foric was granted a medal for participating in the Second War, and was promoted to Corporal because of his heroic battles against orcs. His mother passed away of old age, Quinn inherited a small sum of money, meant for his education in the War Academy of Stormwind. He didn't hesitate a moment even, grasping the opportunity and beginning to learn War Theory & tactics, alongside Swordsmanship.

Showing burning passion in his studies, by the age of thirty-three he had already educated, being a fresh contestant for a junior-officer. Not fond of the corruption within the Stormwind military, the young officer now seeks an opportunity to prove his skills in profit to whatever banner he serves under, and to bring glory and honor to the force he is in.
