Appearance

Long hair drapes down her shoulders and back. A few twigs and leaves are strung about in her hair and her face markings resemble flowers over each eye. Floriandra bears a lithe, athletic frame, and her eyes glow a bright silver.

Personality

Floriandra is generally a kind hearted individual when communicating with her own kind and other druids. She's truthful, even blunt at times. She's highly skeptical and distrustful of outsiders, but she's open to the possibility of them not being murderous foresters.

History

Floriandra was born in Ashenvale over a millennia ago. Her father was a druid, missing most of her childhood to the Dream. Her mother raised her with help of the community. She was taught archery early on, and the importance of the hunt and balance of nature, but she never liked taking the lives of animals. In the years leading up to the third war, she traveled across Ashenvale to learn of the restorative properties of plants, having a knack for herbalism. She became a great hunter and tracker in this time, but despite her mother's influential advice on joining the Sentinels, she refused, not liking the idea of training too much in the arts of combat.

Floriandra had a secret desire to become a druid from a young age and would often lay in the forest at night, listening to the sounds of Ashenvale and tending to wounded animals. Her people's culture made it nearly impossible for her to proceed in entering the Emerald Dream, however. This all changed at the end of the Third War with the destruction of the World Tree. It was then she knew her rightful place in this world; To become a druid, and to walk along nature as one. During the Third War, she experienced tragedies beyond previous comprehension. Her father emerged from the Emerald Dream only two times in her life, having entered it just after her birth. The first was when she received her markings -Two flowers over each eye, both purple in color, reflecting her medicinal prowess of the properties of herbs - and the second time for the Third War, where he fell in battle.

Since that day, she knew she wanted to take up Druidism after her father, to learn to protect the forest she called home. Then, perhaps, she could save the ones she loved from dying. She was granted the right to train within the Dream, waking several years later with better knowledge and understanding.

She now travels across Ashenvale, lending her hand in the battle against the Orcs with a newfound ferocity. Floriandra does her best to protect the forest and all of its original inhabitants as a Druid.
