When she's out fighting or when she has to go through dangerous places she puts on her sturdy leather armour.

Personality

Flabbapa is normally a cheery little Gnome. Most of the time she tries to be nice and sweet. One could call her really friendly. She loves talking to people. Flabby loves a great company and if she has one, she gets carried away in a matter of minutes. Sometimes she can seem easy-minded and eccentric. This little Gnome loves a good laugh and never misses a chance to tell people about the ‘great sense of humour' she has. That actually isn't true – in fact, her jokes are so unfunny that it's sad. The little Gnome hates when people point out her flaws and gets annoyed very quickly if they do.

However, Flabbapa also has bad days. Those are very rare for her, but it's compensated by her behaviour. If she's in a bad mood, she will swear, she will be grumpy, she will be rude and impatient. She will get annoyed very quickly if you catch her like this. Again, these days are –extremely- rare and chances are you will never see her in this state.

History

Flabbapa was born in Gnomeregan. She had an older brother and a younger sister. Her mother was a baker and her father was a typical engineer. He always hoped that his daughter would have a thing for tinkering. However, this wish didn't fully come true. Flabbapa was interested in many things. She was excited about learning to fight – however, she never got a teacher and even after all these years she isn't nearly as good as trained warriors. She liked tinkering too, yes, but it never became anything else than a mere hobby. Flabbapa began making her mechanostrider when she was a teen. She loved to read books – she used to spend hours doing nothing but turning those dusty pages. However, of all the things she did, she liked cooking the most. Her mother taught the child everything she knew about the art of the food. Paps always favoured baking – cakes, muffins, pies, cookies and whatnot. She loved making sweets.

However, when she learned everything her mother had to teach her, she felt that it wasn't enough. She wanted more, she wanted to be more perfect. The Gnome packed her things, grabbed unfinished mechanostrider and set off to Ironforge. She started looking for a master. The search took a year. But finally, Flabbapa found a cook who was willing to teach her. The woman was old, strict, arrogant and sometimes grumpy. But she didn't mind. She only cared about her studies. The woman helped Flabbapa a lot. Being a Dwarf, she even explained Flabbapa what kind of alcohol a cook should use to make different meals more delicious. Flabbapa trained for many years, until she was satisfied with her skills. When her studies were finished she gave her farewells to the Dwarf and returned to Gnomeregan, dreaming about aiding her mother with the bakery. Even such long time wasn't enough for her to finish her mechanostrider – she just wasn't –that- into tinkering. She left the unfinished machined in the Dwarf's home, asking her to watch it.

Sadly, the happiness didn't last long. It was cut short by the invasion of the Troggs and the fall of the gnomish city. When the evacuation began Flabbapa was in the bakery with her mother and sister. Her father and brother were deep below – they were in the ranks of the warriors who were fighting the Troggs. Flabbapa wanted to go down there and warn them, but her mother convinced her and her sister to leave Gnomeregan with the others. And so the three of them joined the majority of the Gnomes and left the city. They saw their home parish. Flabbapa thought that she heard her brother's screams.

They went to Ironforge and bought a small, but cosy home there. Flabbapa was deeply depressed. It took her a year to recover. She finally got over with the fact that she lost two of the dearest people to her. And she wanted to cook again. Even though her mother was too old and too tired to start over with her business, she still gave Flabs her financial support. With her mother's help Paps opened her own bakery in Ironforge. It was quite successful. Well, at least not a total fail.

During her time in Ironforge Flabbapa visited her former master a lot. She finally finished her mechanostrider – and she is very proud of that. Only recently Flabbapa heard about a group of Gnomes organising the reclamation of Gnomeregan. She cared about her race and about the fate of the city deeply. So she left her family once again, plunging deep into the dark corridors of the fallen capital. There she met the people she was looking for. They accepted her into their ranks as a cook – not exactly what she expected, but still. She was happy to at least keep the actual soldiers fighting the Troggs down there healthy. It didn't go exactly how she planned – the leader of the group was quite rude, and she didn't get the comfort she hoped to get, but she was still happy.

Now, having left the Forces, Flabbapa spends her day in Ironforge, cooking and baking delicious delights.
