Personality

Ever since Falanath was a child, he has been very cynical. When he is around new people, he tends to be a very depressing person, but once you get to know him, and open yourself up to him, he will do the same for you. When Falanath is in the heat of battle, he is witty, and packed full of adrenaline. Falanath does not enjoy killing, but enjoys the feeling of fighting, the smells, the sounds, the clashing of steel. He would compare all these to a lullaby. This was only in combat. Out of combat, he is basically a recluse. He will sit in the corner of inns, and drink his ale. Or he won't leave his shelter at all. He is all around a very silent person.

History

When Falanath was a small child, he had always been an 'outcast'. He whole family was fair-haired, but his hair was black. When Falanath was sixteen, he ran away from home to never return. This was because his father struck him. That night, Falanath packed what he had into a small pack, and ran away. He hid in the shadows of Murder Row until he was twenty one. One day, he had been minding his own business when a man approached him holding a knife. He demanded Falanath hand over what he had, but instead, Falanath jumped up from his spot in the corner, grabbed the man by the hair, and drove his face into a wall. This had been his first 'taste of blood' one could say.

That week, Falanath did not sleep. He only thought about joining the military. He wanted to feel the same adrenaline as he had that same day. A week later, he approached a recruiter, asking to join. Sure enough, he was recruited and was sent directly to training.

For quite a while, Falanath's life was peaceful. That was up until the Second War. Falanath was merely a foot soldier with no real skills beyond swordsmanship. He did what he was told, and went no where. This upset Falanath quite a lot. Most battles for him went the same, a win, a slaughter, except for one battle. This particular battle, the alliance had been making a valiant push, but was flanked. Orcs surrounded his battalion, his comrades falling fast. He looked down, and saw the terror on their faces, the fear in their voices. This is when he truly saw that there is no real honor, or glory in falling for your country. Falanath did survive that battle, and learned an important lesson.

For a few more years, Falanath trained, and trained. He was set on never seeing that many comrades fall again. He swore to protect them. That was until the fall of Quel'thalas. Falanath was there that day, and did in fact fight. He killed countless amounts of undead.. and his fallen comrades. He had been taken out of the battle many times for healing, but did not stay in the tents. He would not sit out of the battle, but, after the loss, he was forced to retreat, and was put in the infirmary for quite a while.

Falanath did not take part in High Elven/Blood Elven society much after that. He did take in Fel Energy, and talked his brother Forte into it as well. After that, he returned to his mercenary work, and became more reclusive.

Falanath now is seeking a purpose. He feels that if he does not do something with his life, he will die alone, and bitter. He does not want that, and hates the feeling of being alone.
