Zeke is zealous, to put it lightly. His motivation is for the destruction for all that stands to threaten the path of the Light.

He is a humorless character. He lacks the creativity to entertain, living only for the pursuit of justice and further expansion of the Light. His life is determined by his strong foundation on honor and self-discipline. An insult on it would certainly produce a rather non-desirable effect...

History

Zeke was born in raised in Lordaeron. Since his young childhood, the Godfrey family had seen much war. Zeke's father had fought in the First War, and was fortunate enough to live through it after fighting in the Borderlands, and Zeke had always looked up to his father, wanting to be a soldier just like him. He was raised constantly hearing the saying, "By Blood and Honor We Serve".

When the Second War came, Zeke's father was once again sent to war. Before his leave, his father made sure that Zeke had a better life than himself and made Zeke promise that he would pursue a career in the ways of the Light. Zeke was reluctant, but he would not go against the wishes of his father. That was the last encounter between Zeke and his father. It was assumed that he died in battle. However, with Zeke in his training as a priest, he did not have the time to grieve and refused to show signs of weakness.

Names like Uther and Turalyon began passing in Lordaeron during the Second War. The Knights of the Silver Hand had been gaining in fame and support of the people with their courage and nobility, and Zeke wanted to be one of them. Coming from a rather wealthy family, his mother was able to get him in touch with the Silver Hand and bring Zeke under training as a paladin.

Zeke had began training as a paladin, only to finish his training by the time the Second War ended. Disappointed in his lost chance at proving himself in battle, Zeke resigned himself to continue to delve deeper in his education as a paladin. One of his more desirable mentors, whom would become a extreme Scarlet Crusader in the future, had taught him zealousness and a pursuit of justice. The future-Scarlet had accomplished much in his own service in the Second War, and was Zeke's role model at the time.

The Third War came about, and Zeke got his first taste of fighting as a paladin against real opponents. First the orcs, then the Scourge. Zeke was under the command of Uther at the time, and witnessed first hand the disbandment of the Silver Hand by Arthas at Stratholme. Zeke's time in the Third War was short-lived, but he did not stop his pursuit to remove the Scourge from Lordaeron. He continued to follow his future-Scarlet mentor with a group of other paladins to fight the Scourge.

Word starting spreading of separate groups of paladins forming after the break, such as the Scarlets and the Argent Dawn. A majority of the paladins that Zeke was traveling at the time left to join the Scarlets, while Zeke and the others remained without affiliations to any group. With departure paladins who had leader-oriented departure, the small band of paladins split, with each one of them going their separate ways.

Zeke continued his fight against the Scourge, joining the occasional skirmish with the Argents, seeing as they were more likely not to kill him if he were to not join them permanently. When contact with the humans in Kalimdor returned, Zeke left the Plaguelands and began his life in Stormwind as a paladin of the Light.

However, recently, Zeke's fervor for maintaining presence of the Light has increased greatly. With lack of serious and determined action from the Cathedral and groups such as Lambet Soveriegnity, in his eyes, and the acceptance of Death Knights into the Alliance, Zeke has began his own crusade to return to the heart of servitude towards the Light. With his ideals greatly influenced by his now-Scarlet mentor, his methods are generally not accepted by most of the public and he tends to conduct business outside of the cities.
