Personality

Erynn is the curious, quiet type who only speak with the draenei she travels with, Xoep. Her trust is deep with him, and refrains from talking to anyone else, unless they could somehow gain her trust. She's more likely to help a fellow death knight than anyone else, regardless of race.

History

Born to priests in Goldshire, everyone thought she would take after her parents. That is, until she turned six years of age. There was something off about her, she sat away from everyone else school, and her attention was always elsewhere. Because she never talked, people thought she was mute. Her family moved to Stormwind after it's completion.

When she approached her teen years, she began learning magic. She took the same lessons her parents took at that age, but she couldn't get the hang of it at all. One night, while she was out for a stroll around Stormwind, a shady man in a black robe approached her and gave her a book and said to her, "If you want to be strong, even stronger than your parents, read this, and know it by heart." He left quickly afterwords. She took the book home and read through it, practicing the spells inside. Little did she know at first that the spells were evil, used to inflict pain. Every night for the next few years she practiced them in secrecy, honing her skills with each spell.

Her family moved out of Stormwind after a while and settled in a town close to Duskwood. Erynn was out alone, minding her business and reading another book next to the tavern, when a few people who weren't too fond of her ran into her and decided to cause trouble with her. It was the worst mistake in their lives, they infuriated her to the point she snapped, and attacked them with the spells she had learned and practiced. Her spells didn't kill, but they inflicted heavy damage. Under their screams, her low laughter could barely be heard. Guards quickly detained her and moved her to another location for jailing. She was to be executed...only fate had other plans.

The town was told of undead nearby, causing most to evacuate. The area Erynn was jailed in happened to be in the path of where they were passing through, that area being attacked by the Scourge not too long afterwords. Screams filled the air, and men were butchered in front of her. While she watched, the door shook and fell though, a troll stepping through, only this was no regular troll. It wore heavy black plate mail, and carried a runeblade. As he made his way towards her, she first let him get near, then surprised him with her evil magics. He was forced out for the moment, but shrugged off the damage like it was nothing. Despite the fact that her spells didn't do nearly anything, she let out her low chuckles and pressed her attacks. He stopped and let out a laugh, saying to her in his metallic voice, "Here be a stron' mon, ah'll give ya a choice, death or dah Scourge?" As he talked, she didn't flinch or show any sign of fear, she looked rather emotionless. When he finished, she dropped her hands, and slowly nodded. Deep inside, she hungered for the power, making this decision easy for her.

She followed him there after, and went through the agonizing process of being bound with necromantic energies, being killed and converted into a death knight. After the process was finished, she sought out the troll that had pointed her towards this path, finding him after a few days of looking. She followed him around, until he was brought down in one of the following battles a few years later. As she watched him fall, she showed no emotion, she instead resumed fighting, raising him as a ghoul to aid her. The forces she fought against had cut down most of her allies, and things looked grim. As she was about to be downed, her would be killer dropped, a mysterious tall being standing behind him.

After that battle, she watched and fought by his side, learning his style of fighting. Xoep was the name he told her in one of the raids they had participated in, and after a long while of fighting next to him, she finally muttered her name to him, indicating she had some trust in him. She later learned his race was called the draenei.

On one of the later raids, she ran into her parents, who looked at her in horror. Blade leaning on her shoulder, she stepped towards them, an almost bloodthirsty look on her face. Her father stepped forth and began chanting a spell, but was stopped by Erynn's death grip around his neck. She twisted the shadowy hand, snapping his neck, and turned to her mother. In an angry voice, she shouted, "You are no daughter of mine, you never were a daughter of mine!" Erynn tilted her head and said with a childish metallic voice, "Oh mother...that hurts." She laughed and lunged, cutting her clean in half. Xoep, who had been watching the whole time, applauded her, then rose them both from the dead as ghouls, leading Erynn to the rest of the fresh meat ready to be slaughtered...

The two found themselves in Acherus not long afterwords, slaying the Scarlet Crusaders as instructed. They both helped in the events that followed, helping rid Acherus of all traces of the Scourge, and helping the Ebon Blade. Her reasons for helping them was simple, she had been used just as they had, and wanted to get back at the Lich King for it. As soon as Acherus was cleared, Erynn followed Xoep out, leaving the Ebon Blade behind. They travelled to Northrend to combat the Scourge in their own way, in turn helping bring down the Lich King once and for all.

The two are now found travelling with one another, sometimes seen killing anyone that presents a threat to either of them. To this day, the book she received from the strange man in Stormwind can be seen on her side, fastened by a black chain...
