Other: She was unconcious while she was being converted to the status of ‘Death Knight'. So technically still a living one.

Personality

Calm and controlled. She had gotten over her fate as a Death Knight. And tries not to let people get to her head by accusing her as one. Even though this can be inevitable at times at repetitive nagging about it. She can be slow to react at times.

When she doesn't have to do anything Erika tends to just sit or stand somewhere, rather patient. But easily annoyed if people don't do as they promise. Then again, she has lost the actual hopes of people actually doing as was promised. Having been betrayed quite a few times because of the distrust. Erika still respected Draenei the most, possibly because of their ideas and tolerance.

History

The first 25 years of her life were relatively normal. A follower of the Light. A Paladin. Erika always assisted those in need, and was often found among towns where her superiors had sent her. Mostly her job was to dispatch of any possible threats to the village, encampment or guard tower she was at and recover the wounds of the victims.

Erika has a strong sense of wanderlust. Absolutely loving the places Azeroth offered as she was dispatched on missions. From the snowy mountains of Dun Morogh to the warm jungle of Stranglethorn. She loved the different flora and fauna which lived there. Her traveling got her used to some wilderness. Sometimes camping with a few friends of hers. One of her favorite times was in Dun Morogh, the snow and the mountains.

About a year ago, Erika visited The Exodar on Azuremyst Isle, she'd been curious about the new race which joined the Alliance. Once there she talked with a few of them. Aiya in particular. She explaiend Karin their ways and how their life was.

After she was sent out with a group of others who were part of the Argent Crusade to the Plaguelands things changed drastically. Their attempts at trying to keep the Scourge from invading were in vain however. They failed to keep the undead at bay for very long as the majority of the Argent was executed before her eyes soon enough. She herself was knocked unconcious soon after. She was going to be part of their lines. Becoming what she fought.

A certain memory haunts her mind the most. She had slain one of her own friends who had been kept captive for some of the Plague doctors would expiriment on. After they were thought of as useless. It was her task to take the life of Amber. In her last moments she tried to convince Erika that this wasn't her. That she could go back to how things were.. The speech didn't last much longer as one of the other Knights stepped in and finished the job, leaving Erika with some feeling of guilt. Unable to put her finger on it however. No longer as full of emotion.

Since her unfortunate fate of becoming a Death Knight Erika has not seen Aiya, the Draenei still remained in the back of her mind. Simply worried about the fact how she'd be treated in her new situation. Especially mindfull of how the last person who had any kind of connection to her got treated.

After she had broken free from the control of the Lich King she started wandering Azeroth. Never really settling in a place for more than a few days. Either thrown out or close to being reported to authorities. The longest time she ever stayed anywhere would be the neutral areas, mostly run by the Goblins of Azeroth. As long as there was plenty of coin, they would be as kind to her as to anyone. Her only problem was that actually earning some good money was a hard task. After all, Death Knights weren't exactly popular to be hired for running erands.

Erika still travels. Her wanderlust continuing to drive her. After all, she had all the time in the world now.
