Personality

Epiraantix is a major b-word to everyone. There really isn't another way of putting it. She hates or at least dislikes everything. She dislikes most "living" races a fair amount, though what she -really- hates is the Scourge, second only to her hatred of the Burning Legion, though she directs her aggression towards the Scourge as she sees them as a more current threat. She keeps to herself, most of the time, as if she didn't, she would likely be drawing her weapon on anyone who spoke with her. She's vulgar, bitter, and not very nice, generally hating to repeat herself.

She also, to a very large extent, views herself as an abomination. She feels that she should not be "alive" in her current form, and holds those responsible for it in a rather bitter regard. That is not, however, to say that she intends to end this form of life, for herself, seeing that as an even worse act, and feeling suicide as something that would only be a cowardly way out, rather than living with her own supposed damnation.

She is also very stubborn, and lax to simply give up on her belief in the Light, though she is much more silent about it than she'd like to be. She will, every now and again, give a silent prayer when she believes she is alone. She is, however, so devoted that she will more or less attempt to stave off the "hunger" until, more or less, she is completely insane from the pain and will then likely attempt to kill the first thing she sees.

History

Epiraantix was only a very small draenei child when Argus was lost to her people. Her father and mother both Paladins, there was never any question about her path in life.

She had a rather turbulent childhood that had, in fact, hardened her to the sufferings of those around her, and, in the same way, made her much more compassionate. The constant changes of homes, constant changes of scenery and constant fear of the Legion stealing their newest refuge or even simply killing them all would weigh on her mind for most of her life.

As soon as she was old enough, Epiraantix was thrust into her training as a Paladin. She took to it fairly well, grasping the concepts and learning to trust in the Light, even using it as a handhold to keep her own self stable throughout the turbulent millenia of the Dranei exodus.

By the time her people arrived on draenor, she had grown to a fully fledged Paladin of many years, and settled herself in a small village, only fifty or so of her people, several miles from Telmor. She established herself among a small militia to defend against Ogres, though, for the most part, the militia primarily just handled any small disputes among the villagers. She lived fairly happily, and was content, at least for the time.

Then the Orcs attacked. They really barely recieved warning in time, and it was sheer luck that their settlement lay on the opposite side of Telmor than the side it was attacked from. In one movement, the village ran. They hid themselves in the forest, wandering for a time, and all the while, the seeds of doubt began to form in Epiraantix's mind. How could such a thing happen, even when her own people had done nothing but as much good as they could?

Fleeing into the Zangarmarsh, she hid, then, eventually regrouping with those Draenei who had been with Velen. By this time, only the militia and fifteen or so villagers remained, and Epiraantix took the responsibility for each and every death onto her own shoulders.

When the time came to assault Tempest Keep, however, she had settled her internal conflicts, or at least believed she had. She fought with her all, and gave nothing less to secure the Exodar in an attempt to make up for what she believed were her failures. The battles splintered her again, though, and the idea of taking so many lives, be they necessary or no, never did sit well.

On arriving on Azeroth, she instantly took up arms against the Legion threat there, in the form of the Scourge. Within about half a week of learning of the Scourge threat, she traveled towards the icy north along with three or four others of the remnants of her militia group. She fought valiantly, then, and worked towards defeating the Scourge, though still, she died.

It was just near nightfall, and her camp was only just being set. One of her comerades, a Paladin named Revos, was the first to fall. In the end, it was simply a pair of Wolvar, getting the drop on the group and besting the other two paladins before they even had time to retrieve their weapons.

Death, however, would not come so swiftly to the fallen Draenei.

Epiraantix awoke, though rather than in a church, or even in the Exodar, she awoke in the Ebon Hold. Her body, it would seem, had been discovered along with the two others, and for some reason had interested the Ebon Blade members who had discovered them. Be it because of a need for reinforcements, or just a simple desire to take the corpses so the Scourge could not have them, Epiraantix was never told, though she was now a Death Knight, and had begun to learn the ways of the path of Frost.
