History

Enconius was born some time ago in the haven of Moonglade. He was raised right and treated well, much like any other elf born there. As soon as he became physically mature, Enconius began working as somewhat of an errand boy for his Elders, especially enjoying work given to him by mentors of druidism. When he wasn’t performing jobs or doing favors, Enconius enjoyed studying and observing topics regarding druidism and its practices.

For what seemed a long two-hundred-and-thirty years, he followed the stone pathways of Moonglade. He served his Elders with as much compassion as he served his own parents, and was an ideal pupil. Although not being taught by anybody yet, he employed his own education as he continued his ways of studying and embracing new knowledge.

After this time, Enconius was asked to be an actual apprentice under a mentor of druidism. He eagerly accepted, of course, and was trained in the basic knowledge of druid works and magic for approximately seventy years. Through this time span, he fervently sought as much new knowledge as he could, his social life falling way to bookwork and small practice of magic.

After becoming a capable druid-in-training, Enconius was taught to enter the Emerald Dream. His mentor would often transverse there with him, continuing his education while still in the Dream. Enconius spent approximately two-thousand-and-eight-hundred years in the Dream, being taught in the ways of the Grove, learning to value life and the art of healing magic. Through this time, Enconius did awake on several occasions to manage over-worldly matters and spend time with his family, although not for long bouts. More often than not, Enconius was eager to return to the Dream. For fifty-some years afterwards, Enconius remained in the dream with his mentor. He explored the vastness of knowledge available to him, replacing book learning with knowledge taught to him by his mentor and other Elders in the Dream.

Enconius also played a small part in the Third War. When the demons attacked, he was awoken, and sent to aid in the battle. He participated by employing his learnt healing magic to aid the warriors fighting against Archimonde. Some time after that, Enconius traveled with his mentor, the Cenarion Circle, and other spare druids out of Moonglade to help Teldrassil be formed. Through this process, Enconius continued his various studying whenever he was able.

For the time remaining after that, Enconius assisted the other druids in investigating the corruption of Teldrassil. While he did this, he also kept up on his studies and began to raise a garden under recommendation from his mentor. He was often seen in the garden, even while reading, and was given the surname Petalgrazer from this. While other elves may look down upon the name, Enconius embraced it as if it were a worthy prize from his mentor.

During his involvement with the investigation of the corruption, he was often voicing his opinions, trying to help form a solution to the corruption itself. As the Cataclysm occurred and Malfurion returned to rid Teldrassil of the corruption, Enconius decided to embark on his own travels.

Up to this point, Enconius has simply been traveling, mostly that of the lands of Ashenvale. He is eager to find new things, and keeps a journal of his research of herbs. He looks for a purpose in this new, devastated world, getting along as well as he can.
