Personality

Emily is a very kind and caring person, her main goal in life residing in spreading the faith in the Light and its virtues to every person she might encounter and so, even if Light is not revered, at least to make sure that every humanoid does its best to make the others live a peaceful and happy life. As so, she is often seen rather impressed by other's presence and could be qualified as "overly shy" when being thrown out of her favorite subject or discussion or facing a reluctant or aggressive fellow.

History

Emy was still a child as the Third war broke and the Scourge started to ravage her people's land. Daughter of a Paladin of the Knights of the Silver hand and youngest of a family of four children, she was one of the three survivors of the family after the plague started to ravage the land and kill the people. Fidel to his oath to serve the Light and cleanse the word from the Scourge, the father joined with his brothers of the dead-order to go and establish himself with his remaining son and paladin apprentice, Edward, in what would become the Scarlet's Fortress to continue the fight. While the future of his son was all clear, he was unsure of what would become of his daughter. The little, weak and pale child was yet to find another thing to do in life than help with cooking and cleaning a home, the Crusade needed warriors more than servants and he did not wanted to see his own blood left to clean after his fellow warriors.

His luck resided in the young female's intelligence and the education she started to receive in the local church. Emily's life prior to the Scourge was not far away from what can be expected from a city child in thosetimes. Remaining close to her mother in order to become a woman and learn about the things of life and the role of women in the society, she still followed an education and soon found herself stepping into the worship of the Light and the following of the same virtues that her father and brother choosed before. Being patient and very quiet, she was one of the few selected by one of the Church's healers in order to learn about the plants and their medical use, the brewing of simple receipes and how to take care of the little wounds a child could get in its everyday life of jumping and running around a busy city.

Presenting her to the master of novices at the Scarlet hold, her father left her to be trained by other scholars while perfecting his son's skills in combat and his dedication to the Light. Years passed and Emy was taught how to write and read, basic human biology in order to become a healer in the quarter's infirmary and, obviously, taught about the Light and the Scarlet's virtues. Her stature left her prone to sickness for a few months after the Plague had struck and, only thanks to the Light did she survived in her first few years. She was saved by the Light due to her faith in it and her brothers and sisters care and was not to leave her faith anytime soon.

Though as the years went by and as her father followed the Light's virtues strictly, he started to realize that the Crusade had forgotten their first mission of spreading hope and cleansing the world of evil only to focus on their lust for power and blood. Fleeing the Fortress with his family, they made their way into the different regions keeping them from the only Kingdom of Men still standing in those troubled times : Stormwind. Reaching the city walls after many weeks, they entered the city to find themselves yet facing adversity and, while the father and son continued on their quest to purge the world for Evil in different wars, Emy was left to the Cathedral again, a place where she belonged and enjoyed herself as the Church's ideas of the virtues were not as extreme as the Scarlet's ones. Now reaching maturity and adulthood, Emy is ready to explore the world and help with the Cataclysm by providing medical care to those who might need it after the Dragon ravage the whole of Azeroth.
