Personality

Alignment: Lawful Good

Emra is a farily level-headed Orc who respects her ancestors, adheres to honor and values the ways of her people above all else. She takes the word of her family over the word of any others even if it may cast her in an unfavorable light sometimes. She is friendly with most all of the Horde save for an uncertain view on the Forsaken and Blood Elves. She is diplomatic at most with the Alliance, but would like to see their whole world burn before the Horde. She has a large hatred for humans due to the internment camps that her kind suffered though.

History

Emra was born to a single mother after her father was capture and sent to one of the many internment camps. Many of her younger memories were being held by her mother and running when the clan they were with, the Warsong Clan, felt that they were in danger until they found a place to hide away from it all. When they were not on the move, Emra and others her age were entertained by stories of how things used to be before the humans tore families apart. Her hatred for humans was found in the brutal tales she was told about how the orcs were captured and tortured unjustly. Her mother told many glorious stories of her father, though avoided anything that she felt might spook the young girl. As such Emra grew wishing her father was around and that she could learn to be as powerful as her mother made him out to be.

Emra was still a child when a new second-in-command was appointed to her clan by the name of Thrall. She was much to young to understand what was really going on but was quick to catch on to how excited the other orcs seemed to be. Once more the clan would start to move, though this time she and the other children were left behind in care of a new clan known as the Frostwolves. Her mother also remained behind, speaking to Emra about how the others were going to return her father to her, and that everyone would start to be as it was before.

When the bulk of the clan left, Emra was left to wander around to meet with the other orcs from the new clan. It was during this time that something peeked her interest at last. She watched as shaman went about their days and practiced their magic with wide eyes. It was something she wished to do and after a while she begged the elders to allow her to sit in and learn from them. It was allowed after she nearly went into a rage at the thought of being denied and after the elders had gained her mother's permission.

Almost every day the young Orc would watch the shaman practice their magic. With their guidance she too would start to whisper thanks to her ancestors for their continued existence. Soon after her mother received word that Emra's father was alive and well, but was moving with the rest of the Horde in order to free other orcs from their capture. Both Emra and her mother celebrated much the following days, though worry hung over their heads if Kilshi would survive the experience. When the elders caught wind of her worry, they were quick to assure Emra that the ancestors would guide her father to victory.

New would come and go about the deeds of the Horde while Emra found herself advancing from watching the shaman practice to starting to learn the basics of shamanism. She and her mother would receive updates about Kilshi and his well-being while the young orc trained to do her father proud. She knew that there was still much to do and that she had yet to prove herself in the eyes of her people as a capable adult. She was forbidden to try to learn anything the shaman deemed too advanced for her to do and spent her off time listening to rumors about new things being discovered like the recent troll and tauren people and getting letters from her father about these strange people.

When the city of Orgrimmar was founded, Emra chose to stay behind to continue her training as a shaman rather then go off to a new city that may have dangers around it. Her mother agreed and would remain behind as well in order to watch the child grow. The decision turned out to be a good one in light of the events that went on with the scourge.

Emra refused to undergo her official passage to adulthood until she was sure her father would be there for when she successfully returned and claimed her name. When she was ready to do so she and her mother moved across the great sea to Durotar and was taken to the new city of Orgrimmar to meet with her father for the first time. The reunion between her mother and father was a happy one and Emra quickly took to her father as he appeared to be everything that her mother said he would be. Emra and her mother rested for close to a week before Emra set out in order to prove herself as an adult.

With a long staff in hand, Emra set out into a land that was mostly unknown to her, seeking out a worthy challenge to destroy and bring back to show her worth. She didn't come across just any animal that seemed strong but an orc with an almost red tint to his skin. Before she could really react she was met with a force of shadow pushing her back to the ground. She had no been expecting this and panicked, almost forgetting her training before a crack of thunder in the distance restored her confidence. With the blessing of the elements with her to rid the land of the tainted orc, she called forward a surge of lighting to strike the monster. When he fell to the ground she impaled his head with her staff and carried it back with pride.

She was greeted with pride from her father and mother for defeating a rather unexpected foe. The skull remained on the staff after the flesh was stripped off and the blades of old, worn axes were fused with the wood in order to make a crude, yet frightening axe. It wasn't nearly as pretty as the others that an orc tends to have but Emra loved it all the same, it was her axe and there was none other in the world like it.

Emra now wanders around in order to help her father with whatever he needs done. She sees this as a way to bond with the father she had never knew before as well as keeping him proud of her. While in her travels, she hopes to seek someone who will train her to be a Farseer so that she may better help her people.
