Personality

Emelyn is a friendly person with a good sense of humor, although, she is slightly arrogant. "Men like to wave around their fancy swords, thinking they know how to use them. I plan to prove to them that women can fight just as well." She understands friendship has value and the fact that one great friend is better than ten so-called friends that really couldn't care less about you.

History

Emelyn was born in Elwynn Forest.

Her father was a soldier who was stationed at Durnholde Keep four months after conception. A few weeks after his being stationed at Durnholde, he succumbed to a heavy case of influenza and died, never having the chance to see his baby daughter be born.

Emelyn's mother also served as a soldier for a few years, and after the birth, she taught Emelyn the virtue of power.

"The strongest warrior is the only warrior because all her friends died in combat."

This saying explains that if you aren't strong enough to live, you won't!

Emelyn trained under her mother's guidance for years. A few times they travelled to Stormwind, but never outside of Elwynn Forest.

"Why can we never go anywhere else, like Westfall?"

"Because Emelyn, a true warrior knows that she must master one thing to move onto the next, and becoming completely familiar with Elwynn Forest is just another step you must take."

With all of her mother's teaching, she never had time to gain friends. One person caught her eye though: a young, blonde boy with blue eyes and a quick brain.

They met during one of Emelyn and her mother's trips to the Trade District of Stormwind. They became best friends instantly and would meet every day at one of their houses at around 7:00 in the evening for an hour, but, after two years, he, and many of Emelyn's other friends, drifted apart.

If this seperation wasn't hard enough on Emelyn, her mother, too, had decided it was time for her to move on as well.

"Emelyn..." Her mother sighs lightly. "...I've mastered this stage of my life. I've taught you everything I can now. I know this is difficult for you, but you must understand. I'm going to put you in the hands of someone who can train you better than I... yourself."

Her mother walked out of the door, leaving Emelyn alone to fend for herself. As she walked away, Marilyn, Emelyn's mother, cried for the first time since her husband's death. "Goodbye, my child. I taught you well..."

Now, six years after this event, Emelyn still has never reunited with her mother. Her self-training continues.
