Hair: Eliana has a long, thick head of hair. Rich sugary brown in color, it hangs down her back stopping a few centimeters below her shoulderblades. It is naturally perfectly straight, and Eliana maintains her hair almost obsessively. She usually keeps it parted to one side and hanging straight to her shoulders, but sometimes braids it or puts it in a bun when she is working.

Eyes: Eliana's eyes are a bright amber in color; between green and orange. Her eyes are an almond shape, turning down slightly at the corner and giving her a gentle look.

Weight: Eliana weighs around 140 pounds, but it sometimes fluctuates depending on her diet and activity.

Other: Eliana has a youthful face with full cheeks, a bit of a high forehead, a spray of freckles and a button nose. She has a long, delicate neck and a round jawline to complete her oval face. Her eyebrows and eyelashes gently frame her eyes, both being naturally the same sugar brown as her hair. Her eyelashes are thick and long, giving her face an almost doll-like appearance matched with her other features. Her eyebrows are thick but suit her face, arch mildly and give her an expression of concern almost constantly. Her lips are pouty, overstated and naturally deeply hued, only emphasizing to the impression of a concerned expression. She has small stud earrings in the lobes of each ear, seemingly of the same metal her armor is made of. Her face is free of scars, though her arms and hands are smattered with them due to her hobbies of working with hot metal. She appears younger than she actually is, and thinks of this as an extreme disadvantage. She also finds her short stature to be very inconvenient, but mostly satisfies herself with the thought that there isn't much she can do about it.

Eliana's body is built in a way her mother used to call “sturdy” and her sister used to call “thick”. She has broad shoulders and wide hips, a bit of a smaller, defined yet hard waist and matching “sturdy” limbs. She is well muscled, especially defined in her arms and legs. Her muscle tone is visible under her sun-kissed skin, scattered with a few imperfections such as small moles and freckles. She has a number of scars apart from those on her hands and arms, most notably a deep gash on her left side. It reaches from under her right breast angling downward over her ribs to her back, stopping at her spine. A few other minor ones are present as well.

Eliana has a warm, sweet smile that is relatively ivory and missing no teeth. She keeps her fingernails short on the ends of her stubby thick fingers which are more often than not caked with ash or dirt. Her voice is warm and a lovely soprano, and she usually speaks softly and slowly reflecting her quiet, gentle nature. She always enunciates clearly and chooses her words carefully before speaking. She has a quiet but childlike laugh and often snorts if she gets going hard enough.

Appearance

Eliana is found usually in casual street clothes made of linen or silk, preferring colors of vibrant blues, reds, whites, and greens. Most often she is seen in pants and a shirt, but also wears robes on occasion. They are typically store-bought, though some of her dress-robes are custom-tailored. Her white dress robes are usually saved for visits to the church, other more colorful robes saved for other formal occasions. Her robes are very feminine and usually detailed with beading or embroidery, though her work and casual clothes are usually plain in comparison. She has a set of dirty black leather work clothes she wears specifically when she is working on her blacksmithing or smelting, including a set of heavy-duty gloves and goggles. She always is dressed very conservatively, with high necklines and long sleeves. Her leather boots are well worn, and she typically wears them with everything. No one would call her a fashionable woman, but she does always try to remain well dressed.

Her armor is plate of her own custom make. It is a shiny silver-blue metal and rather fitted to her body and made of a strong alloy of her own design. She wears her plate over a suit of fine chain mail, also hand crafted by her. It is plain in appearance, yet neat and very sturdy. Her initials are engraved on the underside of each piece. Her sword and shield are made of the same metal, though her shield has been enameled with an elegant, ornate design. Her sword is a wide-bladed bastard sword, fierce and keen and nearly perfectly balanced. She is well-trained with it, and it only leaves her side when she is in her dress-robes or she is working. None of her armor has seen much wear and tear.

Eliana is always seen wearing a few rings of silver on her right ring finger and thumb, though she removes them and places them on a thick silver chain around her neck when she is in her armor or working. The silver chain also possesses a small locket pendant that is delicately engraved and enameled.

Personality

Eliana is quiet and reclusive though without an air of haughtiness or hostility. She simply prefers to keep to herself most of the time besides working on projects with the Church or other groups she is affiliated with. She has a serene quality about her that she claims she's had from birth. She has a general like for most people, and is very open and warm. Despite her kindness and openness, though, she still takes a long time to make friends and those few she has she is fiercely loyal to. Eliana is very adept at showing little emotion which may be mistaken for a harsh or blank exterior, but in reality she is very kind and caring for those she cherishes. Though she may come across as easy-going and relaxed, she is very perceptive and always watching her surroundings. She tends to let people think about her what they like, confident in herself and her abilities, allowing her strengths to show through like little 'surprises' when she needs to. She loves to surprise people and prove them wrong, though she is good natured about it. She is cautious at all times though she would describe herself as fearless which is also true in many situations. She is always rational and always plans her actions and words before she does or says them, and is very deliberate. She would call herself quick-witted and intelligent, though not without years of lessons learned to show for it.

Eliana has a good sense of humor and loves to laugh. She is always very casual and unconcerned with the social norms. Still, she is a motivated and determined person, finding happiness in accomplishment. She takes pride in training her body and her craft of blacksmithing, though she does it mostly for herself and doesn't necessarily need to thrive on the approval of others. She is secure in herself and is not short on confidence or boldness. Eliana can come off as a bit socially awkward, but most often in her experience people recognize that she has good intentions and find her oddball persona is endearing.

Eliana is a religious woman. Her faith is and always has been something of great importance to her, and she would not hesitate to fight for or defend it.

History

Eliana was born a year or so after the Second War had ended to a small family in Northshire Valley. Her father, Jim, and mother, Sophie, were a quiet but happy couple who mostly kept to themselves. Her mother was involved with the Abbey there and took the girls often, cultivating Eliana's strong faith from a young age. Her father was deeply involved with his blacksmithing. Eliana is the youngest of three siblings; an older half-brother Michael and blood sister Rebecca. Eliana didn't know her brother Michael at all; he and his mother, Eliana's father's first wife, were killed when Grand Hamlet was razed during the first war and was nearly 20 years older than her. Her father and his first wife were married quite young and had Michael. It seemed that the death of his son and wife effected Eliana's father quite deeply. He was much older than Eliana's mother, and seemed to carry the stress of loss in all of the deep wrinkles of his face. The couple had met when they had both relocated to assist in the rebuilding of the Northshire Abbey after it's destruction in the second war, were soon married and had Rebecca.

The two sisters had a peaceful childhood, playing in the forests and by the river that ran through the valley. They were educated by their mother and both did quite well in their studies. Rebecca was only year older than Eliana and while they were young they acted like twins; inseparable. As the girls grew older, Eliana slowly bonded with her father, whom she took after, and eventually they grew closer despite years of distance on his part. Rebecca took more after their mother, though she always seemed to long for a relationship with their father and resented Eliana for it. Eliana's father taught her how to blacksmith, and she soon became very good at it, spending long hours with him practicing and watching him work. Rebecca began training as a priestess around the time Eliana began training with the crude swords she made, her father instructing her the whole time. Her father had been a mercenary in his youth, though he was unpracticed and getting old by then. Still, Eliana learned to use her sword quite well by him.

As Eliana was reaching her seventeenth year and the third war was just beginning, her father passed away due to old age. Grief-stricken but accepting, Eliana packed her things and moved to Stormwind City, feeling that Northshire could not offer her anything anymore. Her sister and mother were sad to see her go, but understood. She has remained there ever since, usually found in the Dwarven District perfecting her blacksmithing or practicing her swordplay.--
