Appearance

As a Blood Knight, Eldorath has learned to wear thick layers of steel plated armor without much effort--he has turned to like it, even. This is only when on duty, of course, for he preferably wears silken, blood red robes on normal occasions.

Personality

Eldorath is an opportunist, but within self-made standards and that of the Blood Knights. His actions reflect the order of society and would never turn a deaf ear to orders given by higher-ups, even if they leave no chance for profit in return. Also quite honorable and loyal, Eldorath would never lie or double-cross a good friend or family member simply for personal gain--knowing it will turn sour for him in the long run. However, as long as his actions are to be seen legal by law, he will execute them in a heartbeat without a slightest hint of mercy. Eldorath's easily angered when someone shows defiance to the law or his words. In a way, Eldorath is arrogant enough to think his word is law and in his eyes should be followed to the letter.

History

His father--A'kiel Sin'dal--was a Quel'dorei of honor and righteous when their people were still under the reigns of the Alliance. He was a member of the Knights of the Silver Hand till the Order had decimated in result of the death of Uther the Lightbringer. His mother--Foleka Sin'dal--was a Spell Breaker and followed a very different path than his father which damned her in the end to her demise. She protected with many the Elfgates when the Scourge came to seize power over the Sunwell. She died defending it.

When a big platoon of the Scourge came crashing through the gates, Eldorath and his father knew not much could be done against this mightier foe and chose to hide, but not without feeling bitter resentment. Luckily, they had survived the massacre the Lich King had brought down to their homeland, but not without paying a heavy cost. With the loss of the Sunwell, their pure source of arcane magic was no more. As the rest of his kin, Eldorath fell under a magic withdrawal as he and all the other survivors destroyed little what was left of their vast city in hope of giving the Scourge the believes they had won. Within those tragic days, Elodrath found the lifeless body of his mother between the rubble and corpses of other Quel'doreis.

Now saddened and angered, Eldorath knew what true desperation and wrath felt like as he watched the body of his mother and that of thousands of others--not only men, but also women and children--burn with the rest of the place he had called home for all his life. He wanted to destroy the Scourge, annihilate every damnable soul with his own hands if he had to, all in the name of vengeance. Still, he didn't lose his mind to the madness that lay waiting just beneath the surface and instead choice to train him into something that could make a difference--he turned to his father and learned the ways of the Paladin.

Then, one day Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider returned from his studies in Dalaran and brought hope yet again to his people, naming them Sin'dorei--children of the blood--from that day forth in respect of the fallen. Eldorath was one of those faithful believers as he watched their prince and the others set off to serve the Alliance with little men they had left. Eldorath knew himself not to be ready for this journey and choice to stay in Quel'Thalas to help rebuilding Silvermoon City. While he had not yet learned the ways of the Light fully, his father still left with Prince Kael'thas to aid the Alliance in the south against the Scourge.

After a while of constant rebuilding, great news came from the Dark Portal--they had found a new and better form of arcane magic; fel. This was the first time Eldorath came to know fel magic, or to be more precise, fel blood. At the beginning, he had no idea of the dark side effects this poison brought with itself, and soon fell prey to its addicting quantities. Eldorath passively helped reconstruct the eastern part of Silvermoon, but with his growing addiction, it was hard to stay away from the fel blood too long without showing symptoms. When he wouldn't take in a few drops every hour, he would be aggressive, openly insulting people even when he was like this.

Present...

With the restored eastern city and with that a part of his home back, Eldorath has joined the Blood Knights. While he starts to lose the power to wield the Light more and more throughout the relentless use of fel blood, Eldorath can't seem to stop with his addiction without the risk of going into a great withdrawal. Now he's seen mostly in Booty Bay, buying any form of fel he can get his hands on, preferable by the shady dealers that linger in that place. Also, he has yet to find his father since his leave to the south.

After months of thinking, Eldorath has made the decision to stop using fel blood. Followed his sudden and ignorant action, he has suffered under a great withdrawal; one he had never experienced before, not even with the fall of the Sunwell. However, with the help of friends, Eldorath survived the hellish weeks of torment and resumed his duties as Blood Knight.

Through a quite childish challenge from one of his friends, Eldorath met the love of his life. His seduction was subtle; he started to comment on stuff she was doing, or the way she was dressed, and showed her he was interested in getting to know her more. Later, when he thought it was the right time, he invited for her to join him to a drink; calling it their little date. After weeks passed, they slowly grew closer, and it was quite surprising for her to make the first move that sealed their bond. However, their moment of happiness was to grow short, for a saddened event occurred before they could depart to Ratchet. She was kidnapped. Angered to no boundaries, Eldorath set off in search for his beloved, and would not stop until he found her, save and well.

When months passed, and no word came off her whereabouts, Eldorath gave up. His demeanor changed; he became more daring, more arrogant. WIth the lock-down of Silvermoon, Eldorath had raised in ranks within the Blood Knights, and soon came to hear of the rebels' their plans to brake the people free from the restricted city. While he worked secretly to set everything into motion, he met a woman, a magister. It was quite a coincidence he found here sitting in the grass in front of a lone fountain, reading a book. He knew that most of the magisters were for Rommath, but he still started a conversation with her, outside eye's or ear's reach. However, he also came to hear of his old love's death, as did his new love. They talked things out, and in the end there was no bad blood between them.

They soon began to meet in secret, and after weeks of teasing and flirting, Eldorath fell for her; hard. Eventually, she joined the rebels as well, and he was overjoyed they had found a place within the HQ of the Blood Knights where they could simply be themselves. Time sped by, and soon the day came that the big plan was to be set into motion. Everyone who was fight capable were invited to meet up, to speak of the idea of blowing up the city's gate with bombs. Eldorath was one to accompany the bombers, being their bodyguard and protect them till the moment they would arrive at the gates.

Once there, everything went with success. The explosion had set everything in motion, and without skipping a beat, the citizens left the city in great numbers. However, Rommath's forces were gathered and came in numbers far outnumbering the rebels. Eldorath stayed in ground, and fought for not only his, but the lives of all the citizens of the city. When everyone had evacuated the city, Lady Liadrin shouted their retreat. Wounded, Eldorath left the scene with the rest of the rebels forces, his pride beaten.

Tired, he left with the group of now refugees towards Undercity, to set camp up there in the ruins. Eldorath had left to wander the city below, in search for his love. It took some days, but in the end, he had bought the information of her whereabouts from a Goblin. She apparently had left off towards Booty Bay, a place Eldorath rather not visit since he had lost his dependability from fel blood. However, with grudge, Eldorath set off to the tropical city, his face concealed in the hopes he would not be recognized by past acquaintances.

What he found however, set his blood boiling. It seemed in the time he had been searching for his wife, she had given up on him; thinking him to have died in the battle for freedom. And to make matters worse, she shared the room with a human, a MALE human. Confused, some harsh words were shared between the two parties, and others came to intervene as well. In the end, Eldorath simply left, saying she would always have a place in his heart, even if she'd choice the human over him.
