Appearance

Studded leather greaves and boots, held up with a metal belt. Similar styled studded leather gloves. He has fairly swirly silver tattoos on his stomach and arms/shoulders. He also wears a metal mask to help prevent bugs from getting in his mouth while ridding. He generally carries around a two handed axe.

Personality

Durog tries to be quite and listen to what others have to say and how they feel, but he says what he feels needs to be said, though generally little more. The only people he will just walk up to and start talking with, are those he truly considers his friends. That is unless he needs somthing, or feels someone needs to be warned about somthing. He generally likes to think things out before performing any sort of action, and greatly enjoys any mental games he can get the grasps of. He greatly respects strength, but respects wisdom even more so.

History

Durog was born about three years after the orcs were enslaved and put into the internment camps. At the age of six his father was whipped to death after trying to rebell against their human captors. About two years his mother died from starvation induced by poor living conditions, grief, and that she generally gave most of her food to Durog. After that he was raised by the other orcs in the camp.

Since Durog could remember, he would hear great stories of valor and honor about his people. When the orc war-band came to free the orcs from the incampment, Durog tried to stand and fight along with the other warriors. Though when all he did was grab a random weapon from the ground and flail it at the nearest human, he was lucky to just get knocked out by the soldier's hammer and then ignored. Being fortunite enough to not have died from that, he recovered and learned one of his first real lessons, if you fail to plan then you plan to fail.

Durog continued to travel with the band of orcs, helping where he could. When Thrall had ordered the orcs to travel overseas, Durog was disapointed he didn't get to fight against the humans who had enslaved his people. Though with enough respected for the wisdom of the warchief, he did not raise any questions about it. He was happy to find that when they reached Kalamdor the humans seemed to have come over aswell. What then confused him, is when the orcs started to fight alongside their old enamies, the humans, and the Night Elves whom had caused them no end of trouble since landing on this new land. At the battle of Hyjal, Durog was not old enough to to fight, and was forced to just watch as his people fought against the Burning Legion. Durog asspired to be like Thrall from then on. The warcheif proved his strength and wisdom in battle, in Durog's opinion anyways, and Durog started to learn the ways of the shaman to better himself and the world his people live in.

More recently, during the whole Burning Crusade fiasco and Arthus getting his butt kicked, Durog has been training and adventuring with his friends in Durotar and the Barrens.

Skills and Abilities

In terms of shaman elemental powers, he uses the earth and fire element for the most part. This causes water and air is essentially be useless for him, but he is nowhere near a master of any of the elements. He generally focuses more on enhancement and more physical combat, then healing or shooting off lighting bolts or fire balls at enemies. He is also a good rider.
