She has an unexplained hatred of troggs and has been known to kill any she can smell.

Personality

Durgnon is an incredibly nice and respectful dwarf. His opinions on races vary, but are all neutralized when the individual in question is a miner under him. Durgnon treats anyone in his company with utmost respect. However, if something happens to or around his mining ground, Durgnon is set off and becomes incredibly enraged and sometimes dangerous. Durgnon has an interrupting manner about him and doesn't tend to wait to ask a question. However, he's not incredibly rude, usually leaving others' when business is done.

History

Bron an Ironforge dwarf, Durgnon moved through the city every day, always taking notice to someone handling mining equipment, or someone using a forge. On trips outside, his gaze was ever locked on deposits of minerals and anyone mining them in the snow. Durgnon took a passionate look at all things mining, and from childhood he aspired to be a miner.

When he came of age, he immediately began his work in the mines, eventually becoming a roll model for any of the city's children that embodied his old aspirations. Because of his high status in the Ironforge mining industry, Durgnon was taken on expeditions across the Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend, and occasionally Kalimdor. All the while watching the methods of the famous Brann Bronzebeard, Durgnon began to take an interest in exploration as well and went outside of Dun Morogh any time he could to harvest foreign minerals.

When King Magni Bronzebeard announced the massive switch of focus from mining to archaeology, Durgnon worried. He didn't want the mining industry to go to shreds. Durgnon was one of the very few who didn't follow his colleagues to the digsites. Instead, he formed the Stonemaw Mining Company, a company that compiled the arts of mining, smelting, and anything that was of convenience.

Today, Durgnon travels with his newfound cat, scouring the Eastern Kingdoms for any sign of a pick or forge for him to examine, and the people who use them for him to recruit. Durgnon's faith lies within the rock and his men, and he aspires to become one of the best miners that Ironforge and the Alliance have ever known.
