Personality

Dharma usually goes out of his way to help people in distress, especially women. Dharma's mannerisms and behavior can abash any Human nobleman. Due to his polite and somewhat formal nature he seems out of place among fellow trolls. He abhores alcohol, preferring to have tea instead. He may often be found reading newspapers at taverns. Some people may even find his perpetual courteousness unnerving. He is particular about cleanliness and tries to keep his attire immaculate. Dharma has an unpredictable nature, and tends to take reckless decisions. Being adventurous to a high degree, he takes pleasure in tasks that place him in mortal danger. An extraordinary swordsman, he will willingly jump into a fight if necessary. While fighting he seemingly appears to be possessed, fighting with a deadly mixture of grace and ferocity. There are few things that can frighten him, death not being one of them. Dharma gets weak legged while conversing with human women and is quite fond of them. He may be even found visiting gentlemen's clubs while in and around Lordaeron, oblivious to the women's disgust and fear for a troll. He also has a hint of insanity to him, firmly believing that gnomes are actually human children or that the dwarfs are a race of male only people however strongly someone may try to explain the facts to him. He usually speaks in long sentences with complicated vocabulary that some may find difficult to comprehend.

History

Dharma was born in a Bloodscalp Village in Stranglethorn Vale. Just as his mother gave birth to him the humans led an attack on the village. Though the trolls fought with inhuman ferocity and cunning they fell before the might of the paladins' warhammers. The paladin's took those who surrendered as prisoners, leaving them at an orc internment camp. As Dharma grew in an internment camp, he realized that he was different from the orcs around. The orcs lulled by their gradually dimnishing blood lust seemed like mindless cattle to him and his curiosity lied in the world outside the camp. Being kept in a pen puzzled him and he tried more than once to get out, though whenever he tried to scale the camp's high fence he was caught and thrashed by the guards until he eventually gave up. He would watch the humans from behind the fence and would even try to imitate their behaviour. He managed to gain a rudimentary knowledge of the human's language by observing them. As time he passed he felt that he belonged more with the humans than the orcs.

One day as a guard passed by the fence Dharma spoke," Gooh Morning sir" in Common, the surprised guard fetched the others. The guards were dumbfounded on finding the troll being able to converse in human tongue. He became a source of amusement for them, which turned out a blessing for him as the guards then began providing him books to read and made him fluent in the language. When he turned eighteen he was turned over to the Horde, now under the leadership of Thrall, with a bunch of orcs as part of prisoner exchange and was named Dharma by them. The orcs in the Horde sent him to Sen'jin Village but the Darkspear elders refused to accept him into their midst. Eventually he was sent to a training camp to train as a soldier. To everyone's surprise he proved to be adept at using a sword, holding a sword seemed to ignite his inherent ferocity that had been passed on through his ancestors. At the age of eighteen he was sent to fight at the frontlines. After serving for five years he was stationed at the Badlands at the rank of Sergeant. The orcs stationed at the outpost were irked by his human like manners leading him to be bullied and taunted by his superiors and juniors alike. He finally lost his temper when a Grunt hit him in the face with a club for giving him an order, as instinct took over Dharma snatched away the grunt's club and hit back with enough force to break a dozen teeth. Two others got thrashed when they tried to intervene. Finally he was subdued when the watching orcs piled up on him. A court martial took place, the Senior Sergeant taking note of his service exiled him instead of ordering an execution. Resigning to a desolate place for shelter and bored by his dull life he plans to go to Northrend in search of treasure and glory and seeks like minded adventurers. He now resides in Ratchet.
