Personality

Deydra Has a twisted sense of Humor laden with sarcasm and the pain of others. She is Cruel and doesn't hesitate to speak how she feels, and won't hesitate to crush others to reach her goals. She is reckless, and it leads her in to problems more so than not.

History

The Sunshadows have always been a proud and powerful group of Sin'Dorei, starting with Deydra's father De'Darin Sunshadow. De'Darin's thirst for magic took him to the farthest reaches of Azeroth, he wanted to be the most powerful warlock, So he continued to find new more powerful trainers. But eventually the training left him bitter, short tempered, and frail. He called himself a Shadow Master, he could manipulate the shadows, fire, and others to reach his goals, and no one would stand in his way to reach ultimate power, or so he thought. The Warlocks of Silvermoon city saw his ways and show-boating as an insult to them, and forced him to leave the city just shortly after he returned.

De'Darin saw this only as an opening to do what he wanted, he began to find the darkest and most promising pupils of the warlocks and came to them with his promises of glory and power. He soon built a tower and started to train them there. One of his first pupils Velda, was one of the strongest warlocks he had ever met, but she was never strong when it came to mind warping. He fell deeply in love with her and they bore a child, they named her Deydra. They soon began to notice weird things about Deydra when she was born, her eyes were darker then normal, she often went into daydreams looking at fire, and she found solace in the shadows. They realized the Deydra was going to be powerful and began to teach her at a young age.

De'Darin was pleased at her progress and pride, she was always looking for a challenge, and she laughed at others misfortune, she was the spitting image of her father, and he was proud. De'Darin soon believed he was seeing a flaw in her magic, things she did were too destructive, not thought out and she was far too reckless, he had to find a way to show her she needed sense. So he decided to send her on a journey, she was to find one of the most powerful shadow artifacts and master it's power, or she was to never return. Deydra was positive that she could do this, but she was still young, and for the first time in her life she was afraid. She left quickly, with too much to learn, and too much pride for one without the skills to back it up.

Deydra swore she would return as the most powerful Warlocks her father had ever seen, and told him he was weak, this angered De'Darin, and he told her he never expected her to return at all, and was sending her on this quest so she may meet her death. She left angry and determined with no plan and no probable cause to meet her goals. Her mother was never the same after the incident and was soon bedridden with grief, and her father soon realized that at his age, he had to find someone to take over after he was gone, and had sent his only daughter away. Deydra was long gone, unknowing of her parent's problems, they were counting on her and her family's health and power rested on her shoulders, and she walked blindly into the danger that is the world of shadows.
