Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Denardiin's visage would be of a tall night elf, covered by a light brown cape, clasped together under a shoulderpad, which is placed on his left shoulder. Under the cloak, Denardiin would wear a darker brown kilt, for his legs, and a lithe chestguard, dotted with ornaments, such as feathers, acorns and leaves. A staff lays on his back, with the totem of a bear claw on its top. The ornament on the staff's top, however, can be dismounted and placed onto Dena's right fist, his staff used in his left.

Other: He carries multiple tokens and necklaces around his neck. His hair would have different leaves and feathers embedded. His skin, underneath the cloak, shows many scars, mostly healed and old.

Personality

Denardiin, due to the many ages that've passed, has gotten rather patient and understanding, a wise old night elf. He likes to portray himself as a teacher, showing great passion in, at least, trying to make others discover themselves or their environment, though not always via him; he enjoys giving them hints, so that they attain the discovery themselves -- in this trait, he is much like his Arch-Druid, Malfurion. Secondly, he shows great determination in protecting his beliefs and the environment that he grew in; therefore, he is much against violent trespassers of night elven territories.

While he is, by no means, a war-wager, he isn't quite entirely peaceful either. Despite his maturity and patience, he does have a breaking point, which is hard to get at, but once done, it reveals a wild and feral male, prone to defend its rights, beliefs, family or friends with, perhaps, even his own life.

Towards most of the other races, Denardiin is quiet and observant, especially of their personality and behavior. Generally, he grants great respect to tauren, for having always been there, in Kalimdor and their great care for nature, much like the night elves'. As for the other Horde races, he tends to be rather passive, yet not aggressive, and as for the Alliance races, he has a deep liking of draenei, due to --again-- their care for nature and their peaceful stereotype; the other races, he doesn't know so well, so he likes to keep them on a friendly-passive leash.

History

Denardiin Moonpaw was born in a village hidden beneath the leaves and great vines of Feralas. His life was mostly devoid of major events, in which time he learned about the environments, such as the flora and fauna, old night elven texts, embedded in stone and magic especially, mostly from his father and mother, thus gaining an ever increasing interest in those then-cardinal details. And thus, years and dozens of years have passed, and Denardiin's prowess grew, along with his body and age. Years before the War of the Ancients, Denardiin joined the Moon Guard, having had an affinity for magic from the beginning, in which he trained every day to become stronger and stronger, a valiant defender of the kaldorei.

At first, the Moon Guard served Azshara, having strongly believed that it was Xavius that influenced their race's ever increasing envy. But the War of the Ancients came and once the battles have begun, the guards understood how it was their worshipped queen's own will to bow to the demons, so they joined the Kaldorei Resistance, under Lord Ravencrest. Then, Lord Stareye and, ultimately, after the first two deaths, under Jarod Shadowsong. He managed to lead them to victory against the demon invasion, allied with the demigods, the dragon aspects and even lesser races, such as the furbolg. In the end, the Well of Eternity was destroyed, due to Malfurion's counseling, and many kaldorei were swirled in the abyss that was created, their fate being to become vile naga -- Denardiin's parents, included. He, however, was spared the sad outcome.

The night elves, having seen how their once arcane legacy turned them to near annihilation, have shunned their practice and turned to druidism instead, under the tutelage of Cenarius, Malfurion being the very first to embrace the concept. Denardiin, despite most of the Moon Guard, did not immediately turn to being a student of Malfurion. The recent events, incredibly crucial to the night elven future, has made the young kaldorei seclude himself from society. Denardiin, greatly saddened by his queen's betrayal and parents' deaths, left the cities and villages to live in the forest, in a small house all of his own.

This lethargy has not lasted long --at least not for night elven standards-- and Denardiin has soon resurfaced. He has, like most of the other males, started to learn druidism and, due to his already trained affinity to magic, he's done so quite fast. He was soon given the title of Druid of the Pack, as he's preferred the form of a wolf over others; it was the most effective way for him to feel truly free and worry-less. Soon enough, though, by the time of the War of the Satyr, Malfurion decided to ban the usage of the Pack Form due to its feral nature. This act has angered the young Denardiin, but it also helped to teach him maturity and respect for his elders. He, who's later taken the mantle of a Druid of the Claw, has nonetheless fought in the war and helped in its victory.

Afterwards, though, things have calmed and Denardiin was sent into one of the barrow dens to sleep for thousands of years in the Emerald Dream, where his experience was further augmented with the passing of time. This time never grew devoid of events, either; there was always something to learn, something to do, Nightmare to be fought. And, perhaps, on more than one times, Denardiin was contacted by representatives of the green dragonflight. They asked for his help in dangerous or debated endeavors, though none of them major. And on one time by a dragon, itself; a young adult one --a drake-- by the name of Shalara, who's asked for Dena's help and, above even that, secrecy of having been contacted by a dragon.

And so life in the Dream continued on and on, until the day when the Qiraji attacked and the War of the Shifting Sands begun. Being awoken from the Emerald Dream, Denardiin, with newfound knowledge and power, joined the night elven front. Together with the reluctant bronze dragons --and not only-- the allied forces managed to close the Qiraji Wall and so, save Kalimdor and probably, the world, from Qiraji domination. Incredible losses were not avoided, however. In the end, the druids have gotten back into the Emerald Dream beneath the World Tree, Nordassil, to sleep and commune with nature for almost another thousand of years.

The Third War came then, and Tyrande and Malfurion called upon the powers of the druids once more to battle the second demon invasion. The Third War was short for Denardiin and the druids, but the event was another one very important to the night elven race. Malfurion called, with the Horn of the now-deceased Cenarius, the sacred spirits of Ashenvale to attack the demon general, Archimonde and, with the power released by Nordassil, destroy him. Even though the night elven immortality dissipated, the now-experienced Denardiin did not falter, as once he did; he took the night elven fate as a necessary change. True as that may be, Denardiin decided that it was time to stop learning in the Emerald Dream and try to aid his race on the Azerothian plane

He traveled southwards to check how things were in Silithus, only to find another preparation of an invasion from the qiraji. Another short 'War of the Shifting Sands' soon ensued, in which Denardiin took great part in. With this event, he was able to reunite with some friends, as well as form new fellowships. After this second war with the silithid was over, with the allied forces of the Alliance and the Horde winning, the druid decided to remain in actual and former night elven lands, in order to protect and cure them from the demon taint. All the years that followed, that was exactly what Denardiin was doing.
