Simple clothing, nothing too fancy. They change depending on the weather of the area he's in at the time.

Personality

Deekan is not one to be confrontational. He is what some describe as cool and calculating, preferring to plan and plot, usually trying to do so as far in advance as he possibly can and always weighing out options of how things will go and trying to essentially read the future by his knowledge of the mind and how people tend to act. Sometimes he can come across as cold when he is explaining things, pointing out the more useful things and advantages and what steps should be taken and what steps need to be taken to reach any specific goal.

Though young, he acts very mature, and speaks very respectfully, -very- rarely using foul language or swearing, seeing them as unnecessary. He'll use whatever other words he can to get his point across without being aggressive or showing his 'limits' or 'weaknesses'. Being one who focuses on the mind, and priding himself on sometimes being able to tell what is the right way to say something and able to put it into words well, he's been called charismatic by some, words coming to him easily for certain situations. But he does remember that he is young and he knows he will make mistakes, but he does his very best to avoid them by, again, trying to plan for anything and everything.

He's a very loyal little Gnome, especially to his people and home, and will sometimes go to, or has already gone to somewhat extreme lengths to ensure what he believes is necessary for the reclaiming of his home city.

History

Deekan doesn't have any spectacular history. The youngest of three born to two parents who loved and cared for him, albeit in a somewhat strict manner, though he didn't see much about his older siblings. Like all Gnomes, they were intelligent little beings and wanted their son to be just as smart as any other, like any good parents. They raised him to think more intellectually, and tried to get him down the tinker's path, though he never showed any major prowess with technology and building such things to further the Gnomish race's already advanced technological tree. So, they tried sending him down a militaristic path, having him get lessons on how to use a blade and fight; again, he was nothing special. He had the basics down, but showed little interest in it, as he always shied away from conflict. He was definitely a mature child, though, comprehending some things earlier than others at his age, or at least understanding what was happening in the world around him. As he grew up, he became fascinated with how the mind worked, how it learned, grew, adapted. How it could be scarred, healed, motivated to make one to through such extremes that they'd nearly destroy themselves to reach their goal. It amazed and excited him and so, he read as much as he could and watched people silently, gauging their reactions to different things in every day life, how minor things could effect someone greatly later on in a day.

His 'studies' continued on until the time of the Troggs and the Fall of Gnomeregan. It was definitely a traumatic event, like it was for all Gnomes. It had its effect on him, and he sunk into a bit of a depression. Seeing how the events leading to the fall of the city happened, he began to plan everything he did more often. He planned ahead. And planned ahead of that. If you plan for every possible outcome, you can be prepared for anything, he thought. But the young Gnome still lacked life experience, so many shrugged off some things he would do as him simply being a kid. Which, maybe some things were.. After all, he was indeed young.

His depression lasted until he'd heard of a force that was fighting to take back Gnomeregan. He never got involved, but he always hoped. And before he knew it, the entire Gnomish race was gathered, rallied together, along with the Ironforge Dwarves, to reclaim their beloved city. The Gnomish Special Forces, he read up on, seemed to be that force that started it all. And after finding this out, he read everything he possibly could about them, he learned everything and anything about them, their members, their actions, how the battles were going, he eagerly listened to soldiers tell their tales of glory or horror about the battles with the Troggs and the Lepers. He saw them as a symbol that was needed to lead the Gnomish people, to give hope. And then disaster struck, the leader of the GSF, and a high-ranking officer that was close to said leader were killed, the former doing a suicide run into enemy forces after the latter was killed. And shortly after that, it seemed that things had slowed, coming to a near-standstill. He heard reports of some GSF members leaving the fight, abandoning everything after the loss of their leader, and so he took it upon himself to get them together whatever way he could.

He hatched a plan, a dangerous plan, but a plan nonetheless. He found out what the leader of the GSF wore when he was alive, then dressed himself up in a semi-likeness and tried to be noticed around in public, he spread rumors and even made a poster or two about the GSF. Without much of a response, he decided to search for some of the members and hopefully coax them into searching for this 'imposter'. He eventually found himself in the Goblin city of Ratchet, where he found a female Gnome, Neera, and also the criminal Rofupi there; both key figures in the Gnomish Special Forces. He spoke with them, telling them of the rumors and 'imposter' that was about; Rofupi nearly flying into a rage simply at the idea of someone trying to imitate his fallen friend. Deekan led them to the old GSF base in Ironforge where it all began and he then revealed that he was the one who started the rumors. Having already did his homework on the members, he knew Rofupi's reaction would not be a pleasant, or painless one, and so he took the time to write out all of his thoughts and feelings onto paper, which he handed to another Gnome that tagged along, Josie. Of course, as he suspected, Rofupi flew into a rage and began to pummel him, as Josie read what she was given. After finishing reading what was written, and Neera and her getting Rofupi off of the now bloody and beaten Deekan, they all argued about their actions and what to do. Neera and Rofupi then also read what was written and it seemed to have the effect that he had hoped and planned on. It persuaded the Rofupi to return to the fight and Neera to take on a position. All three of them were surprised by Deekan's actions, as he told them he knew full well that he could quite possibly be killed by the enraged Rofupi, but felt that if it would get the GSF back in motion, it was worth it. With that, and seeing that this young Gnome had a way with words, and people(getting through to Rofupi with some words on paper is no easy task), she made him her advisor and recruiter.. and speechwriter. Completely surprised, but honored by the decision and offer, he happily accepted and now is working to do whatever he can to further the GSF's and the Gnomish race's efforts to reclaim their city.
