Appearance

Normally a purple and blue robe with kind of bulky mantle piece as he would say. He wears a pair of gnomish glasses as his sight is bad from a previous endeavor and carries a green gemmed staff. He proudly wears his racial colors on a tabard and cloak.

Other Visual: He is very easily spotted as his mustache is rather large compared to most being going beyond both cheeks and curling upward.

Personality

Dedry is an extremely lovable person. His only lot at the given moment is to make people happy with his confections and occasionally gadgets. He is easy to get along with but don't upset him. It takes a lot to upset him, but when someone does he normally tends to get a little violent and for what he doesn't have in size he has in intellect. He's extremely smart knowing the ways of magic and knowing how to read and comprehend engineering schematics, and he's connected intimately with his gadgets as if they were a child of his, but where he succeeds is in his confectionery treats. As he would say, "Taking over the world...one candy at a time"

History

Though much of the origin of the gnomes are unknown, Dedry's earliest known efforts were during the Second War when the gnomes officially joined the Alliance. He spends most of his time drawing up schematics for new and improved ways to take to the skies. Through much trial and error, he did master making his first customized gyro-copter that fired a battery of rockets that seeked out other air units. In a heated battle in the Hinterlands, his gyro-copter was shot down by trolls, Dedry was devastated by his loss. Dedry, just like all Gnomes in Dun Morogh, were housed in their mechanical city of Gmomeregan and hence Dedry returned Home towards the end of the war, unfortunately, war wasn't over for the Gnomes.

War had broken out in Gnomeregan as troggs invaded the city and a poisonous radiated gas was released into the city to counter the troggs, but ended in disaster. Dedry managed to escape with his life barely intact as he and many others spend their time in Ironforge recovering from the radiation of the gas. With most of his siblings and relatives dead or dying, Dedry was bound and determined to aid in the retaking of Gnomeregan. In Ironforge Dedry spend a few years constructing gadgets of considerable destruction to aid the dwarves and gnomes in hope that one day it would be used to take back their city.

Time passed and passed, but the battle for Gnomeregan had started to fade and all the gnomes could do was keep the contamination and troggs at bay as other events were going on in the world. The human kingdoms in the north lands began falling either or the ravenous plague or had been conquered. With the slowly lost hope of redeeming his home, Dedry began to venture out of Ironforge. In his travels, he stumbled about one of the last vestige of humans, Stormwind City. It was here he trained as a mage. Dedry still having hope for his brethren trained hard and soaked in every bit of arcanium knowledge he could. He mastered the arts of fire and frost and learned how to imbue his weapons with powerful enchantments.

In his peace and solitude, chaos struck Azeroth, an undead plague just as he heard and read about the north lands of Lordaeron had came now to the entire world. Cases of strange structures popping up all over. During a normal day of walking on Stormwinds new harbor, Dedry saw lots of movement in the skies, Skeletal horrors flying right towards the city. With his newly mastered knowledge, Dedry aided in the scourge's attempt to cripple the last human city. With this, by order of King Varian Wrynn, the Alliance was off to war once more and Dedry followed.

Dedry followed and aided wherever the Alliance went until the Wrathgate. A few of Dedry's remaining siblings were aiding the Alliance when the Forsaken turned on the Horde and Alliance and attacked them. What little family Dedry had, had fallen into the past. Dedry returned to Stormwind in the following weeks but with the king irate, Dedry decided it best to not be in Stormwind at the given moment and began his trek back to Ironforge. After returning back, there were whispers in the gnomish community that there was a plan to retake their city eventually. Dedry's spirits lifted a little, but needed something to pass the time.

He began a quest that would define him as the master of confections! He read up on the making of sweets and candies as well as cakes and cookies and numerous other delicious delicacies and started to build gadgets to aid him in making his creations including his M.D.C.S. (Mobile Delicious Concession Stand) a light metal travelers back that has several buttons on it that changes from a table, to a large table to a full size concession stand and vendor. Currently, Dedry is working on several delicacies and actively advertising them in the Booty Bay and soon Dalaran area.
