Personality

Dandy is generally emotionless and passive to the actions and events around her. Although she can feel emotions, in her undeath these are usually only triggered by heavy stimuli, such as the praise of vindication of her respected leader.

This coupled with the fact that she had never really learned discretion or confidentiality makes her an incredibly socially awkward person. Rarely does she crack a joke or be sarcastic. She asks polite to everyone and addresses them honourably, rarely voicing her own opinions. In terms of morality, her morale compass may as well be linked to the person she serves and respects the most.

Although her purpose and motive of (un)life is to serve someone she deems worthy, she also takes a very commanding stance on those she feels are below her. Although she will voice her concerns (to people of a lower rank then her), she will do so politely.

For those who also serve by her side but seem more in favour with her employer, Dandy will develop a subconscious resentment towards, sometimes not even realizing it herself. Always striving to be the greatest minion, she's prone to silent jealousy.

History

Mylaria was born a rather generic Night Elf, living with her parents and her peers in seclusion from the world. She read the tomes of Druidism at an early age, but when she grew older her parents 'nudged' her into the more common female role of hunter. Although she complied, she remained interested by the Druid's apparant stoic nature, respect for life and reservation.

Gravitating towards her own group of friends and people of similar interests, Mylaria would act as a scout and protector during hunting missions as she became of age. She'd use nets and the similar to keep danger away from her group as they searched for prey. She'd also keep her fondness for druidism and often went with druids as they explored or looked for places where they may practice their art, defending them. The druids believed themselves to be the servants of nature, and as Mylaria grew more and more submissive, but not any less deadly, she started to feel herself a vassal of the druids.

Over the years she fell in love with one of the druids, and although the feeling was mutual, Mylaria's weak and submissive nature led to the druid asserting more and more control over her life. Mylaria and her lover remained faithful, but near the end much of the love of the relationship had evaporated to be replaced with a more master-and-servant role. Her friends weren't altogether fussed, as they perceived Mylaria to be happy, even though she was slowly becoming more and more detached from happiness and emotions in general, engrossed in her monotone day-to-day routines.

It was decades later that the orcs threatened the home of the night elves, and war erupted. Mylaria stood at her partners side as he tended to the fallen and cured afflictions. The suffering of her people, although shocking at first, led only to a further numbing of her emotions as she focused on her duties, and bodies became numbers.

Years later her surviving companions started the first in a series of events that would restore a spark to her emotions; hunting parties through the Plague lands. Although apprehensive to the idea at first, her lover convinced her, saying that "The whole thing's just a little fun. Come on, it'll be fine and dandy." Myralia and her partner would gather together with the rest and fight for hours at a time against the Scourge that hounded the zone.

The practice continued for a few months, and her companions grew braver and braver with each weekly foray, until they incurred the wrath of a necromancer. As the group and the servants of the necromancer fought, Myralia was pierced in several places by arrows as she attempted to defend her lover healing a wounded.

Most of the party were killed and the rest fled. Although Myralia had thought her suffering over, she found herself resurrected soon afterwards as a Death Knight of the Lich King, escaping from a life of servitude to a death of complete slavery. Forcibly kept sane by the will of the Lich King as she was sent to carry out her tasks, she acted with her fellow Death Knights and over time her mind adapted naturally to the new mindset.

When the hold of the Acherus Knights was severed, Myralia found herself once again free, but confused and devoid of purpose. Upon her first return to Acherus, when a fellow Death Knight inquired how she was, the line that came to her head and the first words she had uttered in freedom for years, "Fine and dandy." The memory was one of few she had from her two centuries of existence, and through it she forged her new name and identity, with her old one being lost long ago; Dandy.

With a newly formed identity but still nothing to strive for in life, Dandy simply existed. Feeling and caring for nothing, she soon left her brothers and sisters. After a while, something seemed to tug at the little emotion she had left. The tugging continued to grow deeper and deeper, until she understood what it was; need to protect and serve. For almost two centuries, her former self had been a servant and a guard to those around her, willingly or not. Without that part of identity, she felt lost. And so, she absolved to travel across Azeroth and offer her powers to those she felt were worthy of her undying servitude.
