He also believes himself to have a grand knowledge of things, which again, has gotten him into trouble sometimes.

History

Dalrann, while living, was a Priest who worked closely with the Priests in Lordaeron. Even as an Altar Boy, he dreamed of becoming as high as the Archbishop himself, hoping that one day he too would do good for the world. Dalrann spent most of his life running around, fulfilling errands for his teachers and learning to use the light, a good boy, but someone who didn't have many friends. The other kids regarded Dalrann as a "teacher's pet", but it didn't matter, he wasn't shaken one bit by it, he enjoyed doing the work because he knew where it would get him.

Upon the age of sixteen, he began his work out of the city, heading to where he was needed, mostly to heal the injured near the front-lines, or administering cures for those who were poisoned. At the age of twenty, he was permenantly at the front-lines, when things were getting tougher with the Old Horde rapidly attacked their borders. When the war was won, Dalrann was among the many soliders, mages and priests who were honored for their services.

Then... it came. Like a plague of death, the Scourge riled over the lands, a swarm of undeath killing all it touched. Dalrann was one of the many priests who were called upon to defend the city of Andorhal, from the sudden Scourge taint it had suffered from the plague spreaded through the grain. Although Dalrann gave his best attempts, he could not cleanse the grain, nor could he cleanse any villagers who were tainted, eventually having to put most of his "patients" down, to his great dismay. When the Scourge amassed a large attack upon the city, Dalrann himself actually came to fight, his light strokes sending undead burning into the ground. However, Dalrann had his back turned for a moment from his own patients, one of which rapidly changed.. and struck it's claws into his back and neck, instantly killing Dalrann as his body was added to the bodycount in the defence.

Dalrann laid dead, dormant for ages until his resurrection by the Forsaken and the Banshee Queen, Sylvannas. Confused at first by his abilities, Dalrann attempted to use his light, which he managed to do, however the light viciously spat back at him, burning his hands as he tried to flourish it into a heal or a Smite. He watched as his fellow Priests began channeling the Shadow, twisting it around their crooked fingers, whereas Dalrann refused, still trying to conjure the light as he once did, each time burning his body and hands, rending his own flesh just to make a successful spell.

His dedication to use the light, even as a Forsaken, attracted the unlikely Argent Dawn to visit. Seeing his potential, the Argent Dawn recruited Dalrann into their ranks, in which Dalrann fully accepted, eager to get away from the depths of the Undercity and it's twisted Shadow, as well as in hope that they'd help him to control his light once more. Dalrann now rests his abilities with the Argent Dawn, and goes where they need him, battling the Undead Scourge to one day find peace in the lands of Azeroth.
