Appearance

Corva is average height for a blood elf of her age and has dark red hair. She keeps her hair up in a ponytail most of the time because it gets in her way. Under whatever robes or dress she may be wearing, she wears netherweave battlegarb and has a short blade strapped close to her back. Her body is very slim but muscular. She keeps herself very limber and flexible.

Personality

Corva is friendly to most of the people she meets but doesn’t generally care about them unless they have something to offer her. Being friends for the sake of being friends serves her no benefit and will be much nicer to someone she needs something from, whether it be free stuff, entrance to somewhere restricted or for the person to give her something she needs. Her tone is often dismissive if you serve no purpose to her or, if you can help her, often seductive and her body language supports that.

History

Corva was born in the kingdom of Quel’Thalas as the daughter of a magister and his maid. She was never told who specifically her mother was and always believed she was the product of a fling with another magistrix. She was raised solely by her father who loved her with all his heart and gave her all the things a young elven girl needed. Through her young years, her father began to instruct her in the use of magic so that she could one day become a mage as powerful as he.

As she grew into a young woman, her affinity for magic was apparent and by the age of sixty, she was inducted into the Magistry of Quel’Thalas and quickly ascended to the rank of Arcanist. She spent her time practicing magic and constantly increasing her power. To coincide with her studies, she often traveled around the human Kingdoms in search of items she could use to fuel her magic.

These travels took her to ancient ruins, crypts and manor other dangerous places and she thought that magic alone is not powerful enough to protect her in some situations. She took to training with a short blade and over the years, learnt to wield it in combination with her magic to create a fighting style of her own, a mix of martial and magical prowess. She continued to improve her magical arts for decades as well as keeping up her adventures into dangerous places.

When the Third War rolled around, the Scourge came running up the Dead Scar and destroyed Silvermoon City. Corva wasn't in Quel'Thalas at the time because she was hungrily searching for more artifacts to drain but, like all High Elves, she felt the loss of the Sunwell no matter her distance from it.She was hit hard by the loss of the Sunwell and was all too eager to regain her power so she turned happily to Fel magic to sate her addiction. She realised that this magic that could feed her entire race's addiction could make her more powerful than the arcane could. Corva took to absorbing Fel magic and started to use it instead of arcane.

Shadows came easier to her than felfire or demonology did so she put all her focus into making her curses and shadows as potent as possible. She roams the world, working harder and harder to make herself stronger and more powerful in the Fel magic arts.
