Appearance

He is usually seen wearing mail armor, as to keep it easy to carry his various gadgets, bombs, and his rifle. He likes to be mobile, as opposed to having loads of protection, so he usually keeps his clothing and armor lightweight.

Other: He has various burn scars on his hands and above his wrists, lets just say that being an engineer isn't all fun and games. He also always has his father's mug with him.

Personality

Cigdof Ironspanner is a typical cheery dwarf. He loves a good fight when he has the chance, if he has a reason to use his rifle (a good reason) he will. He has thirst for knowledge, and he uses it in his engineering, aligning himself with the gnomish engineers. He tends to tinker with things, alot of times that shouldn't be tinkered with, such as cannons and flying machines. He loves trying to improve things, however he doesn't always succeed.

He tries not to make too many enemies, believing that there is no point in having more enemies than friends, and he doesn't discriminate against any particular races... except the horde. He'll be likely to speak to you if you're near him, unless you make it clear you don't want to be messed with.

He cherishes his father's mug, since he thinks that his father was a great dwarf. He sees the mug as a lucky-charm, and it helps him to overcome fear when he's going to battle, since he's not a fearless warrior.

Sometimes he can be a huge flirt, dropping non-sensical pickup lines on women that look like they could be with him, although not succeeding often, since he's kind of obnoxious.

History

Cigdof, born into the Ironspanner family, a long line of engineers and rifleman. As a young boy, he was always sneaking into his father's ale, and frequenting punishment for it. Although he was mischievous at times, he tried not to get into too much trouble.

When he was around eight years old, his father taught him to use a rifle by taking him rabbit hunting with him. He very much enjoyed bonding with his father, and learning how to use the rifle. He had a natural knack for shooting, of course after he got the basics down.

Two years later, his father made him his first spanner, and he was allowed to tinker with various things around the house that needed fixing with his father's help. He absolutely loved using his tools, and he enjoyed making his father proud of him by fixing things.

When he turned twenty-seven, his father died in a very tragic engineering accident, and he enlisted in the Alliance Expedition because he had nowhere else to go, and he figured he could use his shooting and engineering skills to aid the Alliance's cause.

For forty one years, he did just that, using his gadgets and bombs to fight in many battles. He didn't rise in the ranks quickly, though, like any other person he had to earn his promotions through fighting and showing his abilities. To this day, he is but a Sergeant Major. He intends to stay fighting in the army, since he loves using his skills for good, and traveling to fight across Azeroth, and he works hard to gain ranks and honor.
