Personality

Cheyin was once a merciless instructor in the Kaldorei and this trait remained strongest in her new form. Though hatred and self loathing have become mayor traits to the Kaldorei as well. She has a love-hate relationship with her new master and the Ebon Blade. Seeing them as the ones who cursed her to this new unlife and the ones she is forced to spend time with. A sense of love and loyalty has been forced upon her the moment her master ressurected her. Cheyin longs for nothing more than to feel the sweet embrace of death take her for eternity yet deep down, she wishes to serve her new master. Whether this is her own feeling, or a feeling forced upon her is yet to be seen.

History

Cheyin was born to a high ranking officer of the Sentinel army and her blacksmith mate. From an early age, Cheyin was destined to join the Sentinel army and serve. As she grew older, she also grew wiser and stronger, learning how to handle any weapon granted to her with grace and power. As she grew in age, skill and size, Cheyin proved herself and was promoted until she became an instructor to the new recruits of the Sentinel army. She was a merciless instructor, giving none of the recruits a day off during their training. She put them through rigorous training. She was hated by many of her recruits, much to her pleasure. This was her goal, to unite the recruits against a common enemy. In this case, their instructor.

Her life was simple for years, training the new recruits, patrolling and training herself. Until the Third War arrived. Cheyin led an squad of Sentinels towards Mount Hyjal. Upon Mount Hyjal, she served amongst many outsiders. She held little love to the outsiders and kept herself busy on keeping her sisters and the World Tree alive. Though she lost many sisters that day, she saved the lives of even more. She retreated to Feralas, to Feathermoon to train the new recruits of the army.

This was her life until the Cataclysm happened, flooding the island and along with attacks form the naga, she and her sisters were forced to retreat to the main land. Cheyin covered the retreat of many of her recruits. As they retreated, she lost the one weapon her mother gave her, her Moonglaive.

She continued to train new recruits within the new Feathermoon Stronghold until she heard that the island appeared... abandoned. Not know whether or not this information was correct, Cheyin took her newest batch of recruits on an expedition, camping trip and a mission to recover her mother's weapon. When they arrived, the group split up.

Cheyin went alone towards the ruins, leaving her recruits on their own in the village. She found a Death Knight on the island, suffering from the Hunger. She tried to put him out of his misery. A fight ensued and Cheyin was forced to the ground.

She was not granted the sweet, sweet embrace of death. Instead, she awoke again in pain. A new power surging through her body as she stood up. Without a word, she obeyed her master's every command. Her former recruits ran towards the sound of dying just as Cheyin was forced to lead her new master to them. They wondered what was happening and why their hated instructor was obeying a Death Knight. She was told to give her students a life lesson, that everyone would die eventually. Before long, the recruits started attacked.

While she was fully aware of what she was doing and tried to fight it, she had no control of her body. In a way, the recruits were happy to be allowed to kill their merciless instructor. But instead of killing Cheyin, she merely bled. No matter how much blood she lost or damage she sustained, she kept going to kill her recruits.

After the genocide, Cheyin was to take the weapons of her victims as trophies and headed to the Ebon Hold with her new master and weapons. Her armour was stripped from her body and her main weapon was reforged into something more powerful.

This was the beginning of a new chapter of her life, a life as a slave.
