She is loyal, dedicated and unwavering once someone has earned her trust.

History

Chaundre was born an only child to Bernard and Chelsea Thomas, a noble man who was a mortician and classically trained mage and a noble woman trained in the arts of alchemy. Her parents loved her and gave her the best childhood they could. They raised her in the typical noble fashion; horse riding, mathematics, arcane training, history and what have you. Many a days Chaundre would sneak off to watch her father work, so much so that she became interested in the study of anatomy. While some aspects were strange, she was given an excellent first eight years of her life.

The invasion of the orcs came quickly to Grand Hamlet where her family resided. Even though Chaundre, her father and her mother were able to escape, her mother was badly injured during the attack. The panic and rush of seeking safety only worsened her and before they were able to reach the safety of Lordaeron, she passed. Not even the best priests were able to bring her back from the dead.

After the funeral, Bernard became depressed. He sought after every book and magical wielder in hopes they could bring her back. In his searches, he discovered a book on Necromancy; where and who he obtained it from is unknown. The journey found him two new friends, though.

While this man and his companion taught the two the arts of Necromancy, they discovered the lack of stability in her father. He was knowledgeable in anatomy, but his emotions would easily get the best of him. Knowing that Chaundre was dedicated to bringing her mother back, the men discussed with her how she could only know all the secrets if she proved her dedication; they intended on her killing her father. Even though she hesitated, the sixteen year old did it; enough deathweed in his soup that when he fell asleep, he would never wake up. Her intentions were to make his death quick and painless.

The next plethora of years was spent with the two men, raising dead, dissecting bodies and the like. But not once did she forget and regret the decision to kill her father. Her love for her mother was strong, but her father was alive...it ate her apart in side. It wouldn't be until her masters left and she returned to her childhood home to find out the news; she was pregnant.

Her family estate was relatively intact, giving her the refuge she needed. Eventually, she gave birth to a small, raven haired daughter. It hadn't been been but two weeks when an unexpected visitor showed up at her secluded noble house. The man was slender, had an overabundance of cologne and looked as if his skin was pruned. It wasn't until he showed his face that she realize who it was; her father.

Since then, she has hidden both her father and her child from much of the world. While she hasn't discovered a way to resurrect her mother properly, she still searches for information and tombs on necromancy.
