Appearance

Cerise usually wears normal light plate armor, with a layer of leather for extra protection, except she lacks the armor for her lower body. She is speedy, and therefore does not like her lower body to be hampered by too much armor or leathers, so often you may just see a bit of her legs, or they are often only covered by long boots.

Other: Cerise is quite lithe and slender. For a Death Knight, she doesn't seem like a knight but more like a rogue – in that she is quick in her movements and does not seem to fight as a Paladin or someone with heavy armor would. She has an unblemished complexion and seems to always look presentable, neat, and clean. Whenever she walks, there seems to be a very light, but distinct scent of roses and strawberries when she passes by.

Personality

Cerise is apathetic and quiet. Like most Death Knights, Cerise views the world as something to step on for something greater. She is allied with the Horde only in a small way, aiding whenever she feels the need to give aid, but sometimes it has to be forced upon her. An order given to her by someone she deems as smart enough to be her legitimate authority is always heeded. Take note that you must gain her respect enough for her to deem you as such; otherwise she can just care less for anything you order her to do.

During more personal times, she is quiet, somewhat caring and polite. She tries to speak curses as lightly as possible, and does not like to bring attention to herself. She also has a very calm voice, somewhat motherly in tone. She is caring in that she shows a bit more emotion for the people she trusts and holds dear to whatever is left of her heart.

History

Cerise was born as a normal lady in Silvermoon. Her family was of medium-size, with three other children, two born before her, and one after her. She had been trained to be a fighter along with one of her other brothers due to the fact that her father was part of the military. People then thought that it was good that Cerise was trained, showing potential as a user of spears and as an agile fighter.

When the third war came, Cerise was in the front lines with her father, learning how to fight. Her brother was left behind in Silvermoon as a guard, due to him being more frail than Cerise when it came to matters of battle. She was quick-witted and strong, both qualities that a good soldier needed.

However, they did not count to see a vast army of Scourge. The moment Cerise had come into contact with the many, many, many ghouls and undead of the Scourge, many of her comrades died. However, Cerise remained – but only for a few moments, for she remembered only trying to run toward Silvermoon before everything became blank.

It was here when she started to feel the blistering cold of emptiness. There was no sadness, no happiness – there was simply nothing. She could feel her body being taken, even as her blood dripped from her lifeless body, and being unceremoniously tossed into some sort of ritualistic sacrifice. It took hours upon hours, and it was painful – there was a light thrum of pain – and then it was gone. There was nothing… just as if she was dead. She became an empty vessel.

The moment she awoke, she was immediately controlled. She felt nothing when she was struck and slashed, and she felt her body compelled to strike down anything in its path. When she was compelled once more to get to Light's Hope, and she had no choice but to oblige. The battle seemed swift – slice down into those flimsy crusaders, use your spear as fast as you can…

And then suddenly, something inside her seemed to fill. The empty void began to disappear – and her will came back. The moment it did, she broke down as she saw the bodies scattered all around her. It was here when she was near the brink of insanity – unknowing of whatever happened the moment she lost control, the countless many she killed.

However, there was a man who compelled her to rise and pull herself together. And ever since, she has tried to find this man once more. It was due to this man that she set her sights on serving the Knights of the Ebon Blade, in hopes of finding him again.
