Alignment: Lawful Good

Personality: Carolin is rather strict, and tries to uphold her duties to the best of her abilities. She does not disobey an order from her superior officer, even if it means sometimes putting her duty before her pride. She is both loyal to Silvermoon and her family, and believes in the ideals that was laid out in her family organization. Because of this she is very much into philanthropy, and helps manage the funds that are brought in through charity.

She loves her home and her people and loathes many other locations, even Orgrimmar, despite it being her ally's territory. Despite her ideals of helping the poor and unfortunate people, she limits this only to her kind, the blood elves. Carolin will tolerate other races if she must work with them, but she much prefers being among the ranks of her fellow Blood Knights.

History:

Carolin was born at the same time her brother, Jalen, was to a noble family in Silvermoon. Their father was Bruce Rainbows, a priest who preached the ideals of the light and helping others. Their mother, Lillian, was very much the same in that regard. From a very young age both parents tried to instill in her a pride for her people, and that they should do good unto other high elves because they were all the same people, whether they be rich or poor.

This made her feel good to be an elf, and she wanted to be the best elf she could be. Even from a young age she thought of all the things she could be when she grew up. As Bruce taught her and her brother many lessons in the light, she became more interested in the idea, and decided she would someday wield it and be good at it.

As she got older she started training in holy magic under the guidance of Bruce Rainbows. Carolin spent much of her free time studying and training when she wasn't having quality time with her family. As she reached adulthood she had started thinking of what she would do. Her focus stayed on her study, even as suitors from the other noble family were coming forth in hopes of courtship. She figured that with her long life, she could put off furthering the bloodline and not have to worry about it.

Things kept to a routine until the attack on Silvermoon. That was when her entire life was flipped upside-down. One day she had been returning on a walk home when undead invaded, and many were dying. Some had came her way, and it was by her holy magic that she was able to repel a few of these foul monstrosities, but it would not keep her safe for long. As soldiers came to fight the invaders, Carolin fearfully ran away and fled to the safety of her estate. Jalen and her father were there, but Lillian, her mother, was nowhere to be found.

The aftermath left Carolin devastated. She thought herself weak for fleeing when her homeland was under attack, and then felt even weaker succumbing to the magical addiction. She had focused herself on the light, and yet it couldn't stop these temptations that pushed even her devoted family to resort to fel to sate the magical addiction. It was a hard thing for her to cope with.

But she clung to one idea, that she and her people were now blood elves, named for those that had fallen that day. She took that identity and clung to it, knowing how important her people were, and how for their sake she must survive. While other blood elves had gone to Outland, Carolin remained with her family, and was determined to become stronger. She had lost her mother, but she wasn't going to let this weakness keep her down.

Carolin decided to take her study further, and trained to be a paladin. She came to the Blood Knights as a recruit, and started her training. The young elf was determined to make something of herself, to put forth her studies and train. Her brother, Jalen, not only supported this decision but had also joined in the endeavor as well. Both were determined to become Blood Knights.

The Rainbows family became focused on the restoration of Silvermoon. It was during their training that the patriarch, Bruce Rainbows, decided to dissolve much of the family funds and estate and focus it into a new organization named after him. The Bruce Rainbows Foundation became a non-profit dedicated to the full restoration of their land and people. While the extended family being her uncles, aunts, cousins and so on questioned the idea of giving up the nobility, the twins were in full support.

While Bruce Rainbows had mysteriously disappeared, and reported having nobly died in Alterac, the foundation remained, and is now under the control of the two twins and the employees. To this day Carolin and her brother act as representatives for this organization on top of their duties as Blood Knights.
