Personality

The silent archer from Quel'Thalas is far from what he seems to be. To complement and negate his bold personality, his potential as a great front-line leader has led him to be accepted into the Farstriders despite his bold attitude. Due to his isolation from the world for a few good years, other Blood Elves have deemed him old-fashioned and not fit to take on the constantly changing world. His sense of honor, due to his absence during the Scourge Invasion has not changed, and although he prides himself as one of the Blood Elves, he gives prejudice only on the basis of skill and competency in battle. As an archer, he aims to serve under one of the noble houses as his father did and gain prestige as a bodyguard to the nobles of Silvermoon.

History

With his father serving one of the more prestigious noble houses in Quel'Thalas, Callias was accepted into the ranks of the Farstriders and shot his first orc during the Second War as the elves defended the forest borders leading to Quel'Thalas. On their way back to Silvermoon, his band entered a malfunctioning waygate and got lost for the remainder of the Second War inside the mazes of Eversong Woods. What kept them from going back despite Farstrider training in tracking was an ambush by a Troll Warband which kept them in captivity, making them slaves and killing each member throughout the years until only Callias was left. Only when the Scourge assaulted Northern Lordaeron did the troll tribe retreated into the safety of Zul'Jin's fold and Callias was let go to lighten the burden.

He returned to Quel'Thalas the same man that he was yet somewhat exhausted mentally, with the first wave of alienation rushing through him as he saw his dear city in such a sad state, rampant and oozing with fel magics. Honor as he saw it, was lost as a new glorified civilization roused with pride and self-awareness. He vowed to serve this new Silvermoon with all his might, to somehow repay for his absence, that he was unable to defend the city against the Scourge with his brothers-in-arms. His father, now retired from his master's service rejoices at his son's return and supports his son as he enters back into military service.
