Personality

The calm, friendly knight from Quel'Thalas is more thant what he seems to be. To complement and negate his bold personality, his potential as a great front-line leader has led him to be accepted into the Blood Knights despite his lack of strength or of intelligence of a great soldier. Other Blood Elves have deemed him old-fashioned and not fit to take on the constantly changing world. He has a great sense of honor and a heart of that of a High Elf who does not shirk away or is ashamed of his magical addiction. He gives only prejudice on the basis of skill and competency, not on the color of his enemy's skin or whatnot. He is the third son of a great line of warriors and defenders of Quel'Thalas, and while his brothers fill the gap quite well, he has other tricks up his sleeves that would bring glory to his name.

History

With his father serving one of the more prestigious noble houses in Quel'Thalas, Caliath was accepted into the ranks of the Silvermoon's Spellbreakers and was able to defeat his first orc mostly with the help of his brothers during the Second War as the elves defended the forest paths leading to Silvermoon. Victory after victory were only cut short with the massacre of his eldest brother and the leader of his band, where they scurried off back into Quel'Thalas being chased by the an orcish ambush party. Luckily, a group of Farstriders were able to fend the orcs off as the band made their way back to Silvermoon without revealing the path leading there. It was at this point that the remaining three brothers separated ways, with the second continuing the fight and the fourth retiring from service. Caliath decided to leave for his homeland indefinitely and explore the world much to his family's dismay and as they put it 'cowardice from duty'.

Not soon after did the Scourge decimate Silvermoon and Caliath not succumbing to rage and desire for revenge, readily volunteered to join forces with the survivors to formulate a siege on Silvermoon and reclaim it and its Scourge infested streets. He returned to Silvermoon the same man that he was yet somewhat exhausted mentally, with the first wave of alienation rushing through him as he saw his dear city in such a sad state, rampant and oozing with fel magics. Honor as he saw it, was lost as a new glorified civilization roused with pride and self-awareness. He vowed to serve this new Silvermoon and the newly former Blood Knights with all his might, to somehow repay for his absence, that he was unable to defend the city against the Scourge with his brothers-in-arms. His father, now retired from his master's service rejoices at his son's return and supports his son as he enters back into military service. The prodigal son, the remaining son as it seems, has returned.
