Personality

Cain enjoys sleeping and eating as much as he does a good fight. He lives a carefree life and rarely retreats from dangerous situations. His presumed lack of fear leads others to believe he is crazy or cares little if he lives or dies. Cain can also be a bit grumpy if he is uninterested in the situation.

History

Cain was born into the House of Montgomery, by a headstrong father who left to fight during the first war. As things escalated Cain's mother and a few of her servants decided to flee the grounds due to the increasing battle. While traveling their convoy was attacked by Orcs and all but Cain and a few servants perished. He was an only child and the servants remained to look after him as he was just a baby, often times they sacrificed their own needs to survive. The loyal servants respected their late employers as they were the type of Nobles who accomplished things themselves which is why Cain's father left to fight in the war. During these harsh conditions and long distance in which the servants traveled with the baby they began dying off from hunger, exhaustion and bandits. By the time they arrived in Stratholme when Cain was two years old, only one servant had remained carrying all of the information on the House of Montgomery.

In the city Cain's Servant met a group of mercenaries, at first the servant was standoffish to the group because of their reputation but they opened up to be kind people, albeit a bit tough and indifferent to murdering those who committed crimes. They took in the servant knowing nothing of the noble ties and raised the child as their own. They left Stratholme before it was destroyed and moved into old barracks half destroyed in the war. There they trained, and began instructing Cain once he could walk and follow simple instruction. His training continued for years until he joined the Third war quite confidently at the age of twenty. He had fought with many soldiers and learned even more about fighting as he engaged in battle.

After the war he drifted and stayed away from those who he had known his whole life. The war had caught up to him and took most of his compassion, he was colder and wished to live on his own and experience the world through his eyes. He never cared for his history but only his future. He continued this for four years until present day. While he wanders, his old family servant sends those to search for him to educate him of his past so that perhaps one day he can re-establish his house.

Skills and Abilities

• Deadly Fighter: Although primarily a swordsman, Cain can be ferociously lethal with almost any weapon.

• Gadgets: Cain has compartments on his armor for hidden blades, side-arms and miscellaneous small weapons.

• Raw Strength: Cain is pretty strong, able to lift two handed weapons with a single arm, this helps him in hand to hand combat and other tasks requiring raw strength.
