Appearance

In the confines of cities and large towns Byrnn can be caught in a silver dress. Her appearance changes when she isn't worried about making good impressions or drawing unwanted attention to herself. Her silver dress is replaced with a black robe tainted with purple.

Other: Brynn finds warlocks to be the weakest form of spell caster. Requesting the aid of demons to help you is admittance to weakness.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral Evil

Brynn's personality is one of a curious nature; she believes that she herself will be the savior of her people. Although she does hate the vast majority of individual blood elves, her goal in life is to bring back there glory. How does she plan to do this? Well kill off the current leaders of her people, take over the sunwell, kill any (in her mind) heretics, and then end it all with her people prospering and wiping out the human race.

Brynn treats people (no matter what race) with the utmost respect. Even when she chooses to insult someone or even kill, she will do it all while sounding dignified and gentle. People wonder if she talks like this to gain better footing with her prey or is just crazy. The answer is the latter (partially), in her upbringing she was taught to be very respectful and kind to others. Normally this would pass as she grew older and delved into hatred fueled evil, but Brynn's mind is twisted. She kills with a smile on her face and a seemingly heartfelt “I'm sorry" as her victims' last breaths leave their body.

Evil as she may be, she will not simply kill for any reason. If she has nothing to gain from the death of someone, she will let them walk away without a scratch on them.

Another thing to note is that Brynn, when meeting new people, prefers to do so using a vessel if possible. By this I mean mind controlling someone and then continuing as she normally would. However, after first impressions are through she has no issue meeting face to face.

A brief example of her character:

Byrnn is in her hideout muttering an incantation with 20 followers (imagine the 2nd boss in Shadow Labs), and a group of 5 people just happen to walk in on their ceremony.

"Hello!” She yells. “Can I help you? Or perhaps you'd like to join us?"

The leader of the brave adventurers yells "We are here to end you, evil witch!"

Brynn politely tells the group "I'll be with you in just a moment!” One of the followers stands up and starts walking towards them (mind controlled). The eight foot tall orc now only a few feet away say, "Now why-ever would you want to do something like that?"

The group leader stands his ground ready to grab his sword and recites "She has killed ten of our townspeople orc, and her foul sorcery is a danger to our land!” He starts to yell so that Brynn may hear him, “Now wretch, are you going to accept you fate quietly? Or will this event become bloody?"

The orc frowns and looks at the leader, "There is no need to yell, and I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you. Now the door is just back the way you've came, I'm sure you won't need help finding it. However should you really need help I can have someone accompany you!"

In party chat the tank types "Ok, anyone know the strat for this fight?".

Now from here should the group attempt to fight her she would herself kill them, but should they decide to leave she would be more than happy to let them go without a backward glance.

(From this example it may be thought that Brynn is some sort of cultist or some other trendy evil. I'd like to make sure it is known that she is not a cultist. Yet should the need arise for a cultist like gathering of followers for her to get her way, she would not miss a single detail!)

History

Brynn grew up in Silvermoon City with her mother, father, and twin brother. Growing up Brynn was very competitive with her brother, even in play she strived to be on top and knew that she would. It wasn't until Brynn's brother started having play sword fights with his friends that she took an interest in magic. She was frustrated that she wasn't strong enough to defeat her brother so she started to try and exceed in other areas. She started small, cooking and cleaning, being the top of her class in school, even being a better swimmer. However it wasn't until the age of 75 that she found the priesthood.

When Brynn turned 70 she wanted more than anything to be a fire mage; but to her dismay she had no arcane abilities so she would undoubtedly be a fairly lacking fire mage. But her true calling was yet to be discovered. At the age of 75 she stumbled upon a group of priests meditating, spiking her interest she returned over the next few months only to observe the young priests and priestesses. When she finally began to study with them she felt a bond that she had never experienced; and in spellcasting, a burning desire to go even further.

As years passed and her training deepened Brynn was sent in to battle early because of her prowess. She found that being pitted against the trolls of Zul'Aman was enjoyably, it was almost like she was protecting her family from ravenous savage animals that had no use in this world other than to be eradicated. She even helped in some minor battles against the orcs (this being during the second war when the elves agreed to help the humans). Soon Brynn would become closely acquainted with a human. She found the humans fascinating, and to a degree barbaric. The human in question came to train with her sect of shadow priests, and his name was Artorius. For his people he was middle aged, but this did not affect his training. Artorius quickly became one of the best students and Brynn took an even deeper interest in him.

Since the humans are a young, naive, and reckless breed; Artorius took a liking to Brynn. Top of her class and breathtakingly gorgeous he felt that he must get to know her, and so he did. Brynn found this rather amusing and charming. She never had a suitor before, nor even an admirer. Being very young made her weak to his persuasion, and her love for his praise made it impossible for her to resist his charm. So it was at the age of 128 that she began seeing Artorius. She hid their relationship from everyone, worried that people would view her new found interest as a weakness, or that it would affect her faith.

Two years later the scourge had begun their siege, but Brynn was on a year long journey to get more in tune with her faith. When she came back and saw the corpses that were gnawed and ripped in pieces among the ruins of her once home, she was distraught. She lost all she had… her family, her home, her lover. She was remorseful; maybe if she had been there she could have helped them fight off these monsters. As she gathered herself together and helped as many people as she could, Kael'thas Sunstrider returned from Dalaran to discover the same horrific event as she did. Her people accompanied their prince to seek aid from the humans, and when they reached the humans she found that she did not lose as much as she thought.

Artorius was at the outpost that they had arrived at. Furious Brynn chose not to confront him or even let him know she was alive, instead she bottled up her rage. This sudden change made the humans betrayal unsurprising; she just added it to the reasons she now hates the race. When the elves escaped with the aid of the naga's and were introduced to fel by Illidan, Brynn was done. She did not approve of the use of demons to feed her peoples thirst, and it turned her on her own people.

With all the loss she had suffered and the presumed betrayals she faced, Brynn was starting to believe that she alone was called to Azeroth to be the deliverer of her people, and eradicate all other abominations (all other races, but mainly humans). She now knew that she was meant to save the now Blood Elves, who were too incompetent to protect the sunwell without her. She would turn her people back into what they once were, the High Elves!

(Her people taking in fel energy as well as loosing the city has caused her to blame them for the death of her family, as well as the loss of the sunwell. She feels that the death of Kael'thas, the once prince of her people, is proof that without her the elves would have fallen a long time ago.
