Bred is a reasonable gnome, despite the fact that he is still young. He is calm and passive, doesn't enjoy fights at all. As a man of science, he is also very well educated and believes that there are no Gods, nor Greater Power or anything. He plays his own game, being an engineer and trader and doesn't care much about what the others do around him. A nihilist, an atheist and a clear thinker, to sum it up.

History

Bred is born in the family of explorers. His parents never stayed at one place for too long. Their lust for adventure and knowledge was pushing them forward on their trips. In fact, Bred is born practically on the road.

On a trip to Stormwind, his mother started feeling pains, all of a sudden. The wagon that the couple of gnomes was travelling with, was big and comfortable enough for a birth, fortunatelly, so they just stopped on the side of the road, gave a quick prayer to their respective Gods and got to business. After two hour of yelling, cursing and heavy breathing, finally a child's cry echoed on the empty road. They spent the rest of the night there, where the little Bred was born. On the morning, they ventured forward.

At the age of 5, the small Bred already showed some interest in technology. He was always asking question to his father "how does this work", "what makes the other thing do that"... that kinda stuff. So, at the age of 10, he started tinkering all kind of simple inventions, just to get the hang of engineering. When the young Gnome became 15, a brilliant idea was born in his mind - a brand new engine design with more efficient fuel system and more power, being squeezed out of the small size.

For years the young inventor worked on his schematics, not being able to start the prototype, due to the constant travelling. Once the Troggs claimed Gnomeregan, though, and the Gnome Exiles found shelter behind the thick walls of Ironforge, the family finally decided to settle down. Bred's parents were too old to keep on travelling and seeking adventures. And the young Gnome was too unexperienced to do it on his own. So, the three of them went living in Ironforge, where at the age of 32 Bred finally finished his prototype and presented it to the Gnome community. Though, being a great engineering idea and well-made one too, his engine still isn't popular, due to the fact that the materials for it are expensive and hard to find. Yet, the Gnome is very proud of himself, and so are his parents, who still live in Ironforge.

Now, at the age of 43 Bred left the mighty Dwarf city and went looking for his own fortune around the world, making some minor gadgets and trying to sell them for a profit. The small Bred has turned into an aspiring young man, who aims high and hopes to get even higher.
