Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: Boh'ri is never seen without his inscribed harness, inscribed armlets, inscribed leglets, and similarly inscribed totem-shield.

Other: Much like every article of clothing Boh'ri sports, so is he inscribed. The inscriptions help serve as conduits of leyline's arcane energy to amplify his shamanistic powers, though he himself can not channel the arcane.

Personality

Years of tutelage and service, isolated within the Twilight's Hammer had kept Boh'ri tame and focused on the main objective: carry out The Masters' will. The Old God's influence is not without a cost, though; the Broken's mind is twisted. In his eyes, he is virtuous and only doing what he must for the good of his people. From the exterior though, Boh'ri is a machine; gentle to those that serve alongside him, yet cold and lifeless to others.

Alignment: Lawful Evil

History

Though the Light may forsake them, the work of an anchorite is never done. The Light lends greatness to those who show responsibility, and little more carries that weight than community recovery in times of stress. For the Draenei, the several thousand years of their flight from the Burning Legion, trying times were as aplenty as the effort put in by the anchorites.

But with all things, there is an ebb and flow. The coexistence with the clans of Draenor, as short lived and tense as it was, was a pleasant time. The inevitable discovery by the Legion should not have been a surprise for the Dranei, but Kil'Jaeden was resourceful. The corruption of both the orcs and the Draenei was a devastation for both races. Amongst the surviving Draenei were those touched by The Legion's fel energies. Physical mutation was only one of the transformations that the tainted suffered. For Boh'ri and his fellow anchorites, the fall from grace was a death.

Cut off from their parental Naaru, cut off from The Light, cut off from their place in society. Cut off from their homes, their families. Many things were lost and many people were lost. As a group, the anchorites lost far more than others. Boh'ri's escape to Zangarmash with a group of the other tainted Draenei - the Broken - proved a worthwhile escape - following the one named Nobundo in more than one way, Boh'ri had been among the earliest to take up the practice of shamanism, one of the earlier to hear the call of nature. Unlike most of Nobundo's disciples however, the impulses that follow fel magic caused a struggle for Boh'ri. A few years' worth of internal difficulty proved too much and the trail of fel energy led Boh'ri to the Dark Portal.

After a bit of wandering, the ex-anchorite found a place along with a group of other Broken, eventually using his shamanistic teachings to become something of a community healer. Years had passed. Things were alright. Crystals of fel energy had sprung up, so the fel tendencies of the community were kept content. And then the whispers came. 17 years after becoming part of the swamp tribe, whispers started creeping their way into the minds of a few of the tribespeople. "I can redeem you." "Vengeance can be yours." "They can be saved." The whispers led Boh'ri and a handful of others from the tribe north. A year passed before they'd made it to the whisper's source - what would later be come to be known as The Twilight Highlands.

Tutelage in the Twilight's Hammer did nothing to strengthen the bond between Boh'ri and the elements. The training that Boh'ri underwent taught him how to subjugate the elements, command their service rather than bargain for their assistance. Boh'ri excelled and became a teacher. Though not raising far in the Hammer's ranks, Boh'ri had become a respected member of the community. He had become a healer, a tutor, a friend, a builder. Being a member of the Hammer comes at a price though. Boh'ri had gradually been exposed to the altering energies of the Old Gods, changing in body and mind. Exposure to fel energies softened the impact of physical change, but the two combined took a toll on the Broken's mind. He had become broken in more ways than one.

With the Firelord's invasion came the aid of the Twilight's Hammer. Boh'ri, a warden of the elements, had been called forth as an emissary to the worshipers of the flame. Acting without direct order and with the elements as his tools, Boh'ri now fights to bring the will of his master's allies unto Azeroth.

Skills and Abilities

Warden of Elements - Practicing the disciplines of Cho'Gall has given Boh'ri a more powerful hold over the elements. Though they are far less likely to come to his aid of their own volition, he is able to command their assistance. While subjecting elements to his will takes a toll on the shaman, all but the more powerful elementals are susceptible to his dominance.

Maddened Physique - Exposure to the Old God's influence can alter not just the minds that hear the whispers, but the bodies as well. Beyond the transformation into the body that defines the Broken Draenei, the influence of the Old Ones has given gorgonesque life to Boh'ri's hair, allowing it to move as muscle tentacles.
