Personality: Berthold is very tied to history and tradition. He is not very fond of the non-traditional races of the Alliance, but will tolerate members of those races as long as the individual's intentions are good. The same applies for worshippers of faiths other than the Holy Light. He tends to be aggressive with Horde races.

He is very protective about his family and possessions. He hopes to guide House Greywold back to its former glory, and knows that this will be no easy task.

History: Berthold was born to Theobald and Matilda Greywold when the family took refuge in Lordaeron after the fall of Stormwind. His father left them when Berthold was merely a baby to fight in the Second War, commanding a mercenary band. His victories in the reconquest of Stormwind earned him lands and the title of Lord. Soon, they would have Greywold Manor built, and moved in. People began settling in their lands, the village of Beckham was founded, and as the village grew, so did the Greywolds' fortune.

Berthold's childhood would be marked by many classes in many different subjects (as cited above). He would partake in activities such as hunting, jousting, and accompanying his father in meetings. When he turned into a more experienced fighter, he led small campaigns throughout the southern Eastern Kingdoms. Later, his mother would die of a lung disease, and not much after, his father fell of a cliff during a hunt, leaving Berthold as the ruler of the House.

Recently, with the destruction caused by Deathwing, many people were left homeless, and a great number of them resorted to crime in order to survive. As a consequence, commerce has decreased, and now Berthold has to find a solution before House Greywold goes bankrupt.
