Personality

Cheerful and bubbly are the most obvious of traits for this female. She tries to be the light and good humor in a group and she does not flourish well in tense situations. Though she is not the most patient of elves, she does not have much of a temper; it is nearly impossible to truly make her angry. She commonly sees herself as a good person with a taste for helping others. It is not rare for her to 'pout' in order to keep that image in her eyes.

A good person with a passion for appeasing others, she is easily hurt by those she intended to please. Any disappointment she causes will show immediately on her face. She is, in short, very expressive and has a knack for finding ways to tell the world her thoughts and feelings.

History

Upon her birth, Belora did not cry. Though it was a rare thing, no one gave much thought to it. It wasn't until a few days later her parents began to worry about the daughter's lack of noise. They took her to multiple healers and sages to find the cause, but with no success other than a few theories. Assured of her health and otherwise normal state, the parents accepted the abnormality with no other thoughts.

The girl was a fast learner. She surpassed other Sin'Dorei her age in reading and writing. Much to the happiness of her mother, she was now able to communicate her exact thoughts. Her father swelled with pride at the girl's learning. Since he hadn't gotten far in his own life, he put all of his heart into turning Belora successful.

Though he didn't have money to send her to a proper school, he began buying books on the arcane. Belora's bookshelf began to fill with a myriad of magical texts. But, to her father's dismay, she showed no real interest. She immediately was aware of the disappointment she caused and began to look down upon herself.

Belora was out with her mother when the scourge came through SilverMoon. The family lived in Eversong Woods, but her father went to work each day in the city. The mother and daughter became separated in the chaos that was her home. The girl found herself alone in a crowd with no way to locate her parents. For once, she had become aware of her disability.

Thankfully, Belora found her mother with an aunt that lived inside the untouched part of the city. It was there her mother informed her that her father had worked in the section that had been torn through. Her face filled with obvious confusion, her mother was forced to tell Belora that her father has perished.

After a few weeks of social mourning, mother and daughter returned to their home. For the first time Belora picked up one of her father's purchased books and began to read. She read constantly until each one had been thoroughly studied. By then, her and her mother had been forced to leave their home to live with the aunt.

Now she had come out of her state of intent studying, Belora felt the sorrow her mother held deep in her heart. Unable to handle it, she left home in hopes of bettering herself and her knowledge.
