Appearance

He wears plate and mail armor. Instead of leg plates he wears plate skirts. He still uses his Greataxe of the Ebon Blade and rune forges it into a claymore when he enters areas where Death knights are not allowed.

Other: For him, dominance is very important and because he doesn't fear death he mostly walks around without a chest guard. Most of the armor he wears is covered with trophies, such as bones of his slaughtered enemies. His helmet is a skull of the first Scourge beast he has slaughtered and his shoulder is covered with the tooth of several dragons and other dreadful creatures. His skin is dead and darkened after years of working in frosty wastes. He always wears a helmet to cover his face so that nobody can see his runic eyes.

When Barudan says something it's a fact. He mostly tells the truth. He is an experienced knight and acts so by instead of talking he listens, his observing skills are good and he's physically strong.

History

Barudan was a Paladin who lived in Iron forge. He was raised by his father who was a hunter. His mother died while they were outside, collecting food for the inn. But he wandered off and when he came back there was a huge crack in the ground. His mother's missing ever since.

Since then, he had to help his father hunting for meat every day in order to feed the dwarves. They worked a bit everywhere to gain any coin they can earn. They didn't live a wealthy life but his father told him that it's good them both. They both believed that their way of living made them tougher than all the dwarves who had a good life. Dominance was all his father teached him.

When the Lich King and his army of the Scourge began raiding Azeroth, Barudan and his father wanted to fight. They traveled to Grizzly Hills in Northrend in order to fight the Scourge that had been attacking Thor Modan, in order to save any dwarves that survived the attack. It didn't take long for the Scourge to track them down. His father died in battle. Barudan, now alone, escaped to the Eastern Kingdoms with other Northern refugees. He joined the other soldiers of the Alliance. He got a mission to get back to Thor Modan in order to cleanse the place from the Scourge. It was a trap. As soon as they got there, there was no sign of Scourge troops at first. That was until they arrived way back in the mountain. Scourge troops blocked their way and slaughtered all the Alliance troops, including Barudan...

After he was slain the Lich King claimed his soul so he could become a Death knight. Although the Lich King bended his will, Barudan still thrived on dominance, and with a heart of stone, this became a very deadly combination. He fought his way upwards. As Barudan made it as a Death knight of Archerus, his soul was set free at the battle of Light's Chapel. Afterwards he fled towards Stormwind, hoping for retribution for what he had done. He had no other place to go to. His place within the Alliance was restored, but he did not care for any alignment anymore, after he'd been placed in one by force and against his will.

His mental state had not restored since then. He has become a bloodthirsty knight that strikes down any Scourge that crosses his way. Dominance, toughness and experience are what describe him best. The sensitive paladin has died, and made place for the heartless, cruel death knight.
