Personality

Babben's first love is engineering,and he is an explosive making junky. He is open minded so he holds no grudges towards other alliance races, but dislikes horde simply because they are the enemy. Babben is a calm person that likes to think over stuff before he does them, although he can get angry when insulted. He likes to profit, but he is more idealistic then materialistic. He is quite loyal and despises betrayal.

History

Babben was born in Gnomeregan by parents who were engineers, and has chosen to become one as well. His parents despised violence and feared for their children's safety, so they never allowed their children to leave Gnomeregan and venture into the mountains. In his youth Babben started making rifles and explosives, but had no place to test them, so he started fleeing from his house and testing and practicing outside. There he learned to fight. His father was not pleased with this, so they had arguments quite often. Tension grew between them, as his father wanted him to finish his studies and become elite scientist, rather then a miner. When Babben reached adulthood, he left his home , and ventured off in the world. He continued testing his inventions in the woods of Khaz' Modan. Soon he started mining , as he lacked money to buy materials for his engineering. He earned money for living by selling his inventions, and the metals he mined. Soon, he allied with a dwarf hunter who taught him more in the arts of mining, and some blacksmithing. They traveled around hunting, mining and selling their wares.

They were near Ironforge when the Gnomeregan exploded. Babben rushed to the site, to be met by survivors and told that his parents are dead. In the months following the disaster they kept travelling, until dwarf fell in love and got married. He bought a house and decided to settle down. He offered Babben a place in his home, but Babben refused and continued his journey alone.

He traveled around most of Eastern Kingdom area controlled by he alliance for several years. One day when he was visiting Stormwind he accidentally stumbled upon a creation of a company. He joined it and continued his work there. Two months later he joined the forces that were reclaiming Gnomeregan, where he got injured by the Troggs. After the battle he was operated, and went outside the city to recover. Some of his teeth were broken by Trogg punching, so he had to install patches for his missing teeth, thus having some of his teeth made of copper. Later he joined a Northrend expedition and traveled with them to Howling Fjords.
