Personality

  • Alignment: Lawful good.

Avints acts in a slightly lazy manner, often waiting for someone to speak, rather than speak himself. He tries to act polite, but any time a criticism is sent his way he often attempts to ignore it, and when he is in the company of fellow alliance members, he often complains and puts it down to the fact he's the easy target. At times when he talks more often, it is when he is mainly trying to speak his mind, which he feels sometimes is often ignored. When dealing with other races, he is usually cautious and practically remains silent unless spoken to by members of the Horde, and will often not be leading conversations until he knows them better.

History

Avints had grown in a small village near Lordaeron, where he had always been the ‘least good' at everything. He couldn't run as fast, lift as much or even help as a farm hand as well as others that he had grown up with. But on his 10th birthday he was simply whisked away, with another boy from the village nearby and whom he never learned of his name. A short journey later, they had arrived at a chapel, slightly out of the way and nearby to Andorhal.

In the brief period of time he had spent there, he was told that he couldn't return to his family and that he was to train and become a paladin. In a sense of twisted fate, a day later the chapel was attacked by the scourge in what was to be a minor note in the third war, and he was instructed to flee south with an aspirant paladin of about the age of 16. The other child that had been took to that chapel, and the paladin that had intended to train him, he did not know and was told by the aspirant that was taking him to another place, not to dwell on it.

The years would pass, and Avints trained under the ways of a paladin, but like back in his childhood days had never been as quick to learn a technique or as efficient in passing the many tests that would come, Notably being unable to fully quote from his libram, and was simply told to keep it with him from now on by a trainer, but said that if it was damaged, that the light had better be on his side.

Eventually, at the age of 22, he stepped out as a fledged paladin, but due to his tendency to rely on his libram, some of the arts of a paladin – namely the usage of the light as a healing tool – are weaker than those of most new paladins. Despite this, Avints has already pledged help this land in ways he can, and has set about travelling the kingdom, hoping to see what he can do to help.

On his day of graduation, as with all paladins of the same chapel, they are allowed to experience a day of life as a paladin of yore and of those of a very high standing. On the day Avints finally got to wear the armour, he was mistaken by a group of vigilantes – The Pride – as being a paladin of greater importance. Non the less, Avints has pledged assistance in this time, and

A few days after his day of graduation, he encountered a group that call themselves The Pride, a group of Vigilantes that act from what he has seen and heard, with a sense of the law. After being approached by the group, he accepted and has joined under their ranks
