Leather armor (won't rust in harsh sea conditions!), a tabbard with with organization's crest on the front, a white anchor, on a dark blue background, with gold trim, and when she isn't in armor, she is either in black pants, with a white blouse and tie, and a black jacket, or she is in some other form of loose fitting pants, a comfortable shirt, and a broad brimmed black hat. Comfortable, because she isn't actively seeking romantic approaches, and lets face it! Its *comfortable*!

She can often be found with many types of blades, depending how she is feeling, or what she is doing, however she prefers to use her rifle, and does so much more frequently than stabbing things. Its easier to clean a rifle than a bloody, rusting sword.

Personality

Avia is a free spirited, profit minded individual. She enjoys conducting business, enjoys doing things outside of the norm, and usually prefers to keep things appearing legal. She runs her crew fairly, and will dole out punishment when required. She doesn't enjoy killing, preferring to instead work things out in a non-violent manner, however she doesn't object to duels, and other legitimate means of settling differences.

She also doesn't follow political currents, as they serve only to detract from the ability to gain profit. Thus, her crew come from both Horde and Alliance. She isn't cruel, and often can be quite sociable, due to her past, though can be firm, when required to. Her views on killing are quite similar to her views on the political alignments, killing creates a bad image, and lowers the price of what people are willing to pay for her goods. Thusly harming her, and her crew.

She knows though, no matter how legitimate she tries to appear, that the nature of her business isn't, and isn't phased by it. She permits certain liberties with her crew, but demands that they compensate any "partners", and will not permit them to steal from customers, if they knock over a bank, or some other shop, as they are not the intended victims. She doesn't mind Paladins on the whole, but they are her one exception for hiring on for the crew, they tend to be a liability.

History

Avia was born to wealthy, politically active parents, her mother died, in an assassination plot, her father, as well as the rest of the family, decided to send her away as a young child, for safety. Unfortunately (or fortunately as the case may be) the time was never right. She remained away from Silvermoon, hidden away in the town of Booty Bay, her guardians were neutral, but trusted by her father, her name was a nickname, given to her by her guardians, for her protection, and because she always had lofty ambitions, she did well in her education, and she had an unusual attraction to heights. She still uses it to this day, because she doesn't remember her life in Silvermoon, or her family, and no one ever called her by her real name.

By the age of 70, she had designed plans for her own airship. Sadly for her, Booty Bay was attacked, by Bloodsail pirates, and her house was razed, those plans would never be realized. She continued to grow, through her "in between" years of being almost an adult she had formed a small business, hiring her friends as workers, running errands and doing small annoying tasks.

When she was old enough to be considered an adult, she saved all the money she had earned from her company, and bought herself a ship. She worked freelance for many years, sailing cargo from one port to another, and generally avoiding conflict. When that ship came under attack, she had to abandon it, losing the contract and the ship in the process. When she made it to Ratchet at last, she sat down and did the figures, deciding she wasn't earning enough from doing milk run cargo shipping. She turned to her friends, who informed her that they were running black market items, but couldn't get them far, because of bandits, wild animals, and the ocean in general.

It gave her an idea, so she presented the idea to her friends, who loaned her an impressive sum of money. She bought herself a new ship, upgraded it to her exacting specifications, and formed a new enterprise. Arcane-Myst Enterprises, to be exact. With her newly purchased ship, she began to sail the southern seas, opening new trade in exotic and arcane items. Her services soon became sought after, and she soon found herself doing more business than she could handle. She began to hire again, a human here, a troll there, anyone who could help was hired.

Her organization now has three branches, the "recovery" arm, which serves to liberate items of interest from whatever may be holding them, the "shipping" arm which she personally heads, and the "contracts" arm, which employs several "free agents" who secure contracts and make sure deliveries happen on time, and payments are received.

Which puts us at her current state, she has recently made an expedition into Nagrand, following a major attack which put her ship into dry dock, at Ratchet for repairs. After locating the ancient crashed Draenei vessel hidden in Oshu'gun, her interest in exceedingly exotic wares was peaked. She is looking to hire scientists and engineers, to gain blueprints of the items she intends to loot, for sale back on Azeroth. Her first shipment of Netherweave cloth is expected as soon as she has her ship up and running.
