Appearance

Either wearing assorted pieces of armor he picked up or scraggly clothing which barley covers his whole body. He seems to always wear a mask or helmet covering his head in order to hide it from the world. On his back is usually a very large axe which, looking at his frame, he shouldn't be very proficient in wielding.

He has very dark skin, his body has stitches over a very large portion of it and he looks dead, his skin has begun to rot along with his mind. Due to his rising, his body took a serious toll as now even a simple push can send him collapsing to the floor quite easily. Along with this and the fact he uses a very heavy axe, simply swinging the weapon can cause him to fly along in the direction it was swung. Suffice to say, he barley retains any of his Blood Elven self in death.

Personality

Despite being raised as a ghoul, he seems to still contain quite a unique personality. Being raised took quite a toll on his mind as this is quite obvious by the way he looks and acts to everyone. His speech is quite slow and he seems to be unable to make out large words or complicated sentences due to his mind being focused mostly on food. He seems to be quite an active person, hyperactive in other words, enjoying to jump and leap around and even sometimes swinging his Axe around dangerously while people are around. Even if he was to hurt someone doing so, he wouldn't say 'Sorry', he never says sorry even to his master which seems to show he lacks quite a bit of empathy for the people around him. Being raised by Sanya has caused him to gain a few of her traits though. He seems to have a stronger, somewhat natural, dislike towards 'Warmlings' then any other dead being. When fighting, he seems to be very clumsy and uses the most unorthodox methods of attacking his foe, for an example, ramming plate armor with his head.

History

Aurel was born into a passionate family of rangers, two older siblings and one younger one. A large family, he always had something to do whether it was playing games with his brothers and sisters or joining in on his parents training as much as he could. Him, his siblings and his parents all lived in the Farstrider square of the city of Silvermoon as they were part of a Farstrider Family. His parents were often going out on assignments for the Farstriders which left the children alone most of the time and through this they gained a closeness which could not be matched by any other family.

During the course of his life, one of his two sisters became a magic user while the rest of them, including himself, all followed in their parents footsteps and became rangers for the Farstriders. While Aurel was lacking a bit in the bow and arrow department, he made up for it with his swordsmanship, often helping his other siblings with what they have trouble with. When he was finally given the title of a ranger after his training, he was put into a group apart from his own brothers and sister. This, however, didn't trouble him too much as he knew that every time he went home he would meet them once more and share stories with them of their separate expeditions.

When the time came for the first war, the Farstriders were sent out to help the fights. Aurel and his team did well to stay out of any dangerous situations but, however, his brother wasn't as lucky. Most of his team was left badly wounded on the battlefield and only a minor portion of them survived, his brother being one of them. Sadly, however, he had to come home with one arm only and could no longer fight for the Farstriders. Despite the loss of an arm, when the brother arrived home he was happy to find out that his lover had become pregnant during their last encounter and was glad that he would be able to take care of his child.

Then the second war came, Aurel's brother stayed back, unable to fight with one arm and a child to occupy it. Him and his sister joined the same group this time around and fought side by side with the others of their squad. During this war, Aurel took a toll as he came face to face with a raged orc. He suffered many wounds during the fight but he was able to bring the orc down with the help of a few of his friends who shown up at the right time. The wounds he gained caused him to be bed ridden for the rest of the war, scars forming so he could never forget the mistakes he made.

The third war, one period of time he would never forget. The day the scourge ransacked Silvermoon, he was on a boat returning from the south after having a mission there. By the time he got home, the place had already crumbled into ruins, nearly everyone dead. He found his sister, his brother and his family dead, although, his brother's corpse was missing. All that was left was his younger sister who chose to learn magic. She left with the group of elves who followed Jaina while Aurel himself decided against it. That was one of the worst mistakes of his life. While his sister followed the path of remaining a High Elf, he follows Kael'thas and became a Blood Elf after gorging himself on Fel Energies like many of his other brethren.

Later, he broke off his alliance with Kael'thas and returned home, after finding there was nothing left for him there he decided to return to his life as a Farstrider, one of the duties he was told to do was guard a prison cell. Who would of known that such a noble thing would cause his doom. Inside the prison bars was a Blood Elf woman by the name of Sanya. He knew she was dead, he knew she was a Death Knight, he was afraid of her. However, it wasn't long until an innocent little Night Elf came one night and tore him to pieces. Leaving him dead.

He didn't remember anything after that until he opened his eyes to the face of that Death Knight, Sanya. His body reattached, piece by piece stitched back together. He knew he was dead and the woman in front of him was his lord and master. She told him to rise as he did, following her words and her footsteps, never missing a beat. He was no longer the Aurel Flamehawk he remembered, he was now nothing more then a ghoul with the pet name 'Braindrinker'. Life is tough.
