Personality
Audrey is somewhat quiet, preferring not to associate with any seemingly senseless talk. She generally has a pretty neutral outlook on everyone. Audrey doesn't like to make strong friendships, nor hold strong grudes; she wishes to see everyone from all perspectives. Audrey prefers to act diplomatically in nearly all situations. She has a sarcastic sense of humor, often too subtle for some people to notice.
History
Audrey was born in Lordaeron City to Marcel Lafayette, an Alteracian ambassador to Lordaeron, and his wife Abigail, whom he met in Lordaeron. Though the Lafayettes visited Alterac often, they spent most of their time in Lordaeron, much preferring it to Marcel's home country. Because Marcel had a cold relationship with Lord Perenolde, he was not informed of Perenolde's plot to collaborate with the Horde. Despite Alterac's treachery, Marcel's reputation was not tarnished; he moved on to great successs with business and politics.
Though Audrey shared the political interests of her father, she was very distant from her parents. They allowed her to do just about anything she wished to, because they trusted her good behavior. The young Audrey befriended many of the outcasts of Lordaeron City, but still maintained a good reputation due to her family's wealth. Audrey never particularly liked most of the people she knew. She looked into magic, initially learning of the Holy Light, which she was somewhat capable of using. She hoped to learn of the arcane, but she failed to use it effectively.
Through her association with magicians, Audrey met warlocks and shadow magi. As a result of her dislike for common society, Audrey didn't easily conclude that shadow magic was necessarily a bad thing. By the time she was eighteen, Audrey could effectively wield shadow magic. Beginning as a member of a society for magical studies, Audrey soon found herself among underground shadow circles, as well as well-organized criminal gangs. Through all of this, Audrey still upheld her classy reputation; her parents were oblivious to her illegal activities.
When she was twenty-three, she and a circle of shadow magi and criminals left the city to be away from the law. They lived in a secluded mansion in the Alteracian mountains, where they could continue their magical studies and criminal operations without worrying about secrecy. Because of their isolation, they were able to avoid the conquest of the Scourge. Possibly because of the fall of Lordaeron, but mainly due to internal conflicts, this society gradually lost numbers. Audrey and two friends from the society moved to Stormwind a year after the Third War. Audrey hoped to pursue a career in politics, but found herself living off her now-deceased father's wealth. She returned to the underground, once again associating with darker individuals.
As always, Audrey has only hoped for power, progress, and the decline of civilization. Her animosity towards the common people and their senseless problems has lead her to be very misanthropic, and proudly narcissistic.
