Though quiet, she is not shy. She never hesitates to pray for some one or any spirit she senses near.

History

Though unknown to Aubreigh, her parents were not the most respectable of adults. Her father was professional thief and her mother stole from the tailor she worked for. The two only thought of themselves, Aubreigh, and her older brother. Soon, victims of her father's thievery caught word of where he stayed, and went to their small home in Elwynn Forest. The angered men found only the young boy playing out front, and stole him away. Aubreigh's mother was nursing the infant inside and was only alarmed by her son's screams. Babe in arms, her mother ran to the hidden shack where her husband did most of his dealing. He instructed her to take Aubreigh and seek refuge at the NorthShire Abbey, and disappeared after the men.

Weeks went by with her mother waiting for the return of her husband and first born. Any sign, or trace of the two was never found. Slipping into depression, Aubreigh's mother left the baby in a priestess' arms and insisted that Aubreigh be raised as a child of the light, never allowed to leave the safety of the Abbey, and taught only about of the Light and its virtues her family had lacked. With that, her mother headed North, and was found three days later at the bottom of the lake of NorthShire. Though she had heard the stories of a family's tragic end, Aubreigh was never made aware that the story was of her family. The priestess she was left with christened her "Elise Lumina" and kept her strict in the studies of the church. Young Elise was raised to follow the Light and accept no other paths. She was taught nothing beyond the Light and her home at the Abbey, including the outside world and its many diverse inhabitants. She was kept within her room in the Abbey, or supervised within the Abbey Library. Though the calls of fellow children outside reached her ears, she was never allowed to see them. Not until she reached her teens and started experiencing the change did she question life. Her inquiries were quickly silenced and she was directed to old scripts.

There were no plans for Elise to ever leave NorthShire, but her mentor, the priestess, started experiencing the effects of old age. A few followers of the Light traveled from afar to give their final goodbyes to this priestess, as she had been a mentor to many of them. As many traveled to the Abbey to wish this priestess farewell, Aubreigh, for the first time, had seen races beyond that of humans. She quickly realized that there was more to the world than what could be seen behind the walls of NorthShire. On the priestess' deathbed, Elise mustered the courage to ask where she had came from. The dying mentor smiled weakly. Out of fear for the young woman's path, only offered the name, Aubreigh, before her spirit went to be with the Light. Elise did not cry, for her faith had promised her she too would be in the light with her beloved mentor, it was only time. With nothing to stop her, Elise had decided she would soon need to leave NorthShire Abbey and explore the world beyond the forest. She continued her studies in healing for another year before she felt she was ready to take on the outside world. Just as she stepped beyond the wall of NorthShire, Elise knelt down and started to pray. When she arose she no longer went by her childhood name. She had shed the little girl name of Elise Lumina, and readopted her birth name of Aubreigh.

Aubreigh knows she will learn and experience things beyond what she had been taught by the church. Though she knows this, she does not understand yet the impact it may have on her faith. But with the Light and Love in her heart, she knows she will truly have nothing to fear.

In her time from Northshire, Aubreigh has quickly grown and matured into a dedicated healer, priestess, and new mother. She hopes to retrieve the faith lost by many with the inspiration of her son and dearest love.
